EDGE, right now has its second wind but, cannot compete long term with UMTS; agreed.
Right now I'll be happy with a K750i + 1GB MSDuoPro + HPM-70 headset this week before my wife spends all my paycheck!

No I'm not a mod. I don't have enough discipline for it. I'd mostly let people get away with anything. Threads would turn into catfights, go off topic, you name it  Except not searching before asking a really obvious question, I'd put a stop to that. I'd be the search nazi!! But everything else would turn to chaos.
btw good luck your 1GB card. I just got a 512MB, couldn't be patient and wait to afford 1GB

Has the W810 got a lens cover ? I've rea somewhere that it doesnt have a lens cover ? Thats a step down if true ? |

its not actually a step down since it is not a direct decendant of the K series... its a W series.. meaning the consentration of the product is really inclined to music and not an imaging phone... the W800 doesnt have that active lens cover... but be sure to wait for K800 coz itll be a sure fire hit...

actually the w800 does have active lense cover - only the w900 and w810 don't.

So why did they take out the lens cover from the w800 on the w810 ?
Doesnt really matter as i think i'll be modding my w810 with a k750 back and get that lens nice and protected !

According to gsm arena the K750 has Java MIDP 2.0 and the W810 doesnt!!! I really like the K750s ability to minimise apps... can the w810 minimise apps? |

W810 has MIDP 2.0 as well (check out SEs WEB site) and yes, W810 can minimise apps as well (it can do pretty much anything K750/W800 can do + little more). |

Nah, I think that the K610 is a somewhat minor upgrade to the k750/k600.
There is no way that SE would release such a relatively low spec'd flagship model. |
