somethings wrong with the connection again....it connects for sometime then disconnects abruptly...then I resrat the router, it connects again and disconnects after 2-3 minutes... the PPpOe link light is off....
Any ideas whether this is a router settings issue or a service provider fault??

Yup...shyam, pppoe it is... The pppoe lights stay on when it connects then goes off.....
