You have to have the play memories app to upload more than one
no. in the album app, you click on the menu button, choose PLAY MEMORIES SETTINGS and sign in. Once you've signed in you can use the album app. Press and hold on a photo you want to enable multiple selection. Then start selecting as many as you want. Click on the share button and choose PLAY MEMORIES. and it will start uploading all selected photos.

Moogoo can you please turn on your nfc and check if the logo appears on the status bar? As i can't seem to be sure if it's normal that's is not appearing or is a bug of this fimware. |

@sponse - i haven't updated the firmware yet but yes i have an NFC logo to the left of the WIFI logo when it's on.

One thing that I really hope for the album app is to have the ability to `select all'. As of now, there is no option to select all, you have to select one by one. The new update doesn't have this as well.

The NFC issue I remember happening to an earlier update on either the Z or ZU - I can't remember how to fix it though, I definitely remember something like this happening before - could have been my imagination though lol

a possible fix for this is making sure NFC is turned off or on before you do the update - don't know which it is so those that have done the update was NFC on or off beforehand

just wondering how does Sony determine if the phone is ready to be updated?
Is it location-based with a pre-determined criteria, such as IP address, or even phone serial/IMEI no.? |

updates are made for "product codes" (regions, countries, network variant). So if update is available (published on company's server) for your product code, it will show either in phone update (OTA) or once connected to PC.
Companies usually release those updates in "waves", that why some people wait longer than the others. Then, there are also locked phones (locked for specific network) where network provider has to approve update before it's released.

From india, before when i used xperia z1 it was having a best display as z ultra
But yesterday i went to other store and i compared it with xperia z ultra and xperia z
Xperia z and z1 were having almost same identical display exactly same colours
But z ultra was as always superior the best among them
So in india also there are some xperia z1 which are having lottery?
