Is there just the one Xperia branded tablet? Or is there another? I'd like to see the reintroduction of Cyber-shot but that would be asking too much at this stage.

I guess you are asking whether there will be just phones or more ? If so, then yes. The IFA Sony press conference is more about Sony electronics gadgets than Xperia phones. There will be Xperia Tablet, new Bravia and some other really cool stuff. |

Ah so the tablet you've shown a while ago would be there? that's nice, how I wish P could have a successor, the dual display is perfect for PSM and gaikai gaming imho, at least a resolution/SoC/camera upgrade would do

Some more live photos of the Sony Xperia T (LT30p) have surfaced:

Lol, it already looks so much better Must be the light in Russia
I cant understand the difference between this and GX though? Is T waterproof perhaps? That would explain why its so much "chunkier" |

My thoughts too. Although, the usb port doesn't have a protective cap so that probably rules the waterproofing feature out.

I must agree, it looks soo much better than on the first pics...
But Hayabusa still has more sexappeal.
Is the backside dark blue?
Edit: What phone is that in the background?

Don't know, but it's neither Hayabusa nor Mint. What looks like a mini-usb port on the side is placed differently to both of them.

It's nice to see the presence of hardware buttons on the side

so true.
one thing i love about sony phones is the existence of an actual shutter button! i hate having to touch the screen to take a photo. seems "wrong" for some reason.

We lose so many features that could've been great to see on what we now call ultimate smartphones, all thanks to the trend brought by the iPhone
Xenon/LED combo Flash
Removable Battery
Hardware camera/volume button (especially the glowing ones)
lens cover
card slot
unique designs/form factors
anything else to add?

That handset in the background reminds me of the S500i with a dipped chin and silvered sides.
Personally I think the dipped chin like that is a bit dated as a design feature. But then again I didn't like the arc's quiff at first and now I'm in love.
I have a dig bick You read that wrong |

@razec
Personally i love the hardware camera button and volume rocker keys...
Xenon/LED combo Flash
Hardware camera/volume button
lens cover
These three feature makes the Sony phones better from all other phones..Slide the lens cover to start the camera, adjust zoom with the volume button and take the shot with the camera button...But the current xperia dont have lens cover which i am not happy about...But they still have the dedicated camera button which is nice...
Right now GX is my choice. But i have to see GX and Mint side by side to make my final decision...
