i've tried the 21.91 but... i don't know, in normal mode photos does't seem so good as 7.7 but in other modes it looks better. Another thing... i don't fully understand how to use it :$ |

1.3 beta 3 is a brilliant driver!! most excellent work. i have only tested in night condition in my room. sample shots below.
"2. When AE lock is on, it restores himself after shutter speed or ISO changes. So with AE lock you can set for example ISO 100 and exposure time 2 seconds in any light conditions."
- can you please explain this further? i don't understand how this works. when i locked AE and increased shutter speed (EV -1.0, zoom keys 1. , the 3rd shot below was obtained at iso 80!
1.3beta2, supermode, manual iso 125, manual shutter 1/5s, focus infinity, incandescent wb. NOTE: increasing shutter for brighter pic was not possible with this driver as it would result in higher iso shots (noisier pic)even though iso was set to 125 - that's what SPU fixed in beta 3!
Kopritis v7.2 beta, night mode (ENM), focus infinity, incandescent wb
1.3beta3, supermode, AE locked, manual shutter 1.0s, focus infinity, incandescent wb

I'll try to explain =)
First of all: any changes of shutter speed or ISO unsets AE lock.
Second: when you set manual shutter speed (ISO is Auto) you get shutter speed priority and camera automatically adjusts the ISO but step by step (this is very important!).
Third: when you set manual ISO you get an ISO priority but this resets shutter speed (in any case) to the default value.
And the last: when AE lock is on it will be restored after every change of shutter speed or ISO.
Conclusion: Turn on the AE lock, set ISO as you want and than shutter speed you'll get exactly this ISO and shutter speed (if they are not exeeds the hardware limits).
PS: I don't know yet how to set ISO 80 manually, but you can get it changing only shutter speed as you already done =)

ok i follow. so by locking AE, when ISO and shutter are manually adjusted, AE does not change and thus does not factor in the final pic, only the adjusted ISO and shutter will. makes sense now.
more testing to come ...

aaa shut up at your face (joe Dolce) 21.91 has very good macro, and if it doesn't focus on, USE MANUAL FOCUS!

I've told the noobs many times.. USE SEARCH!
so here it is last for the last time: Open FAR, press F1, select SEFP, press enter, (shutdown phone) press & hold C, connect phone, select FS, go to IFS, SETTINGS, CAMERA and delete the camdriver0.dat from phone, and copy paste the one you want from PC. then go back to root, and exit SEFP
DO NOT PULL OUT THE PHONE BEFORE EXITING SEFP, OR YOU MIGHT DAMAGE IT!!!
Good luck |
