How did you get R1JG? FOTA, SEUS or Wotan?

Mine is same as aremaboy. Using SEUS! Remember that I said it is getting difficult to enter Software menu using R1GB? Now with R1JG is easy again.

What is the latest firmware for T-Mobile? and is it wise to upgrade to it because I remember quite a few people advising not to upgrade to the new firmware...

So FOTA doesn't update Update Service Agent, but SEUS does. That's weird as Update Service Agent is meant primarily to run FOTA?

I have a k790a. from usa and I am currently running R1GB001.

Is this the latest software?

Everytime I try to use SEUS to download it says I have the latest software..

Even if I click continue anyway it finishes 100% but I still have the same software..

I picked United States when SEUS started, should I pick another country?

se has not come out with the new f/w for the k790i in india atleast on seus!!

its been a week since it was released for the k800i. its strange coz they normally come out the same time.

my friend updated his k800i. his is the french version. he told me that the top two buttons next to the earpiece have been disabled!!

these buttons were used to scroll up and down in the file manager.

has anybody noticed that?

Never knew that it function as scroll button (using joystick is more natural). I thought it is used for camera control? I don't think I will miss it.

The two keys at the top are normal here. No problem to be used to view Camera shots or scroll down in File Manager.

I have the same problem. Since I've upgraded to R1JG001, upper left hand corner button doesn't work on certain areas. Though the other button on the right works normally. I can't scroll into File Manager and Camera Album in Full View accessed from the top two buttons.

Here are my findings:
-in standby, pressing the button near the camera brings you to thumbnail foto album. The two buttons both WORK allright to be used to move up and down only.
-in standby, pressing the button far from camera brings you to landscape photo. But, you CAN'T view the next photo by pressing it. Instead, you must use the button near the camera. It enables you to move from picture to picture.
-in Camera Album folder, the two buttons both work to scroll only up and down with thumbnail, e.g. 3x3. BUT, if each photo is in Landscape, both buttons DO NOT work.
-in File Manager, ONLY the button nearer to Video Call camera works to highlight up and down, inside File Manager main folders as well as subfolders and sub-subfolders. The button far from camera DOESN'T work.
-Both buttons DO NOT work to scroll the contents of Game and Applications folders inside File Manager.

So, is that what you mean by 'not working in certain areas'? I just don't remember that it worked before. Or did they?
However, it's not a major problem. We have our joystick to scroll up and down, right?

yeah its only the left button that doesn work in the file manager for scrolling

also in standby when u press it once your camera pictures open. earlier you could press that same button and scroll those camera pictures. but that doesnt happen now.

i agree its not too big a deal but still its handy. but when that button has been provided it should atleast function right. then it depends on the user whether he utilizes it or no!!

Yup. Same here. APAC CHINA W1. Also have the screen dimming out in the middle of texting. Although when I press any key, the screen lights up agian instantly and not after 10 secs like the others.

Should've stuck with R1G. Sheesh...

You must have been idle for some time while texting and it went to 'save energy status'.

2 seconds is hardly much idle time...
