@reyeses, sama ba kayo bukas sa Badminton Central from 12-2pm? We could probably extend for a couple of hours more depende sa dami ng maglalaro. |

sabi ni horny, may malapit daw na court sa bahay nila, at nilalangaw lang. kung wala pang sked sa sabado, gusto niyo bang subukan?
ang sabi din niya, yung may-ari ng court na iyon, sila din ang gumawa sa yellow feather (and yellow feather isn't exactly a bad court).

@* the courts near our village is called badminton gold. pinagmamalaki ng owner na ang naka-install daw na court system dun ay pareho ng sa yellow feather. since siya daw ang distributor ng magiging showcase daw niya itong court na ito. ang cushioning system daw ay "mondo" system at ang surface ay "tru-flex". i tried it out and its not as bad as rubber paint on cement, but i still prefer tara on wood for my old knees. the surface looks like sandpaper, but the mondo system does provide some minimal cushioning. there are four courts, but onlky 3 are useable to our standards, the fourth is just rough cement painted with ordinary paint. maybe they figured some people will bring along their yayas so might as well provide a court for them. the looks of the court itself is very disappointing. it looks exactly like a warehouse with badminton courts inside. reminds me of that stinker in j.p. rizal. they only painted a portion of the walls, the upper portion looks very ugly. the courts are not entirely enclosed as it only has 3 walls-- the entrance is open from floor to roof, there is only a wire fence to keep people out. when its windy and rainy, im sure you wont be able to play. and it costs P180 per hour, pretty steep if you ask me for a court thats located right at the backroads of pasig. BUT if youre willing to go all the way inside pasig, and youre not really into the looks of the court, im sure we can play on saturday the whole morning as it seems nobody else has heard of the court or is willing to play there at P180/hour. |
