some time back i faced the problem with ups (apc)
its warrenty was expired fortunately person who sold me that ups was good friend of mine he created new reciept for me and faxed it to apc ppl and they replaced the battery

trust me it aint the long hrs of playing. if that was the case my 2.5 yr old dell wud have died in under 1year, it used to be on atleast 16hrs a day.
IMO the HP laptops are horrible compared to the dell i owned before. lots of software/hardware problems. flimsy build. i hate my dv1615ts and the 1gb ram upgrade has absolutely no difference in speeds (its the same with or without it i checkd it myself) i will soon get rid of this junk laptop on ebay n get myself an ibm or dell.

I've had and tried and old Compaq Armada and it's working good till it's last . .. sigh . . . I hope that will be fixed without doling out some cash - Sanj ! Good Luck !
