so i used to work for a large internet company's tech support
plenty of people who have bluetooth phones in a city callcentre
i'd be bjacking the guy 2 chairs down and he'd be talking to me about it
hilarious stuff
at me new workplace there are very few targets
i do however jack across the room to my buddy inmy admin, so's he can do me favours and such |

Id love to do that, but where i work they dont let us have personal possesions like mobile phones with us. They have to be kept in our lockers.

you must get yourself a nicer job. bluetooth is a great way to pass the idle hours, you can take a photo of something funny and just send it on over.

Know this is prob silly question but where can I find a working copy of sman? The latest version, I had a beta version but it "ran out" and can't find a full working copy! Bluejacking is so much easier with sman on a p910i! |

Heh, i have a pretty good job now (thanks to a promotion) but we're still not allowed such items. For a few reasons, first of all they dont want us making personal calls whilst working, and two in case we break our personal posessions the company do not want to have to pay for them.
I still bluejack from time to time at work though, usually on lunch hours or using one of my S60 phones running bluejack software.

when oh when will a java bluejack/bluesniff client be released so we non-s60's can play more?
are these hardcore java programmers sitting on their hands, or do they all have s60's?

Well, soon maybe.
The new K750 supports Java Bluetooth, so Java bluejacking apps can be made for it.

Go to the phonebook, choose to make a new contact.
In the bit where you'd put someones name, type in a message. Save the contact. Now, find it in the phonebook, press more, send contact, via bluetooth.
Then, when the phone finds another Bluetooth phone, simply highight it and click send. If you're lucky it'll get sent. If not, try again with other phones your phone finds on searches.

I was able to use MobiLuck when I had a Nokia 7610 (I know. I know. It's a brick!). It seems that the only bluejacking software for java phones is Freejack, but their site is down while and it's assumed that they will not be upgrading the software.
you can always Bluejack with out software.
1)Create a new contact (The name being your message)
2)Send that contact via bluetooth
3)You've just bluejacked someone.

Freejack certainly isnt in development anymore, i emailed the author a year ago almost and he said he'd run out of money and wouldnt be updating it again.
It doesnt matter, because it never worked on most SE phones anyway. Java Mobiluck might work on the K750i though.

does anyone know if there is bluejack software for pocketpc? (ppc2002 or windows mobile 2003?)
I sometimes receive contact files sent from P9xx, is this from sman? I cannot open the contact file even though the file looks the same as the contact files I can make.
