Take care my friend, tranced.
Good morning all.
Last time when earthquake hit my city in 2001, i was taking my shower bath. On second floor of my house. In a flash i wore the shorts and run down with half nude body. At first it was fun, but when we realised how severe that was, we frightened.
Currently my city's temp. has drop to 17. And i am standing in a windy place. I cannot type this, as my fingers are cold and stiffened.

Terrible, let's hope there won't be a tsunami.

I think I made a mistake yesterday. I said that the earthquake was 7.3. It was, but in Haiti. The magnitude here was of 4.3.
If it had been of 7.3 we would have had worst results.
The haitian did have the worst. Even dead as I heard the news.

Nice to see you, tranced.
What were you doing when earthquake striked?
By the way, tomorrow is a festival day in India. 'Makarshankranti' means kite flying day.

I was with a friend in a known mall of Santo Domingo. We were in a second floor and the bench we were sat in moved by itself. I thought my friend had moved the bench and he told me he didn't move it. Then we heard something and we figured it out it was a quake.

Wow i just saw the most disturbing news about the earthquake in Haiti. Jesus, the news said there are a lot of dead and there was this dude who was recording himself on the webcam and he said: " i dunno if my mom and brother are OK" and than another small aftershock stroke the place and the dude was really scared. Oh man, it was so disturbing! I hope there will never be another earthquake ever again ANYWHERE. Jesus Christ! |

Unfortunately its the way of nature earthquakes will always happen. Earthquakes happen more in places near tectonic plates across the world. Luckily the UK is not near one although we have a few small fault lines in the earth underneath the UK we dont get them so bad or that often here. Its just so sad that other people in the world live with this. Worst places being Japan Indonesia West Coast of America Greece Italy and so on. Haiti is on what they call The Ring of Fire which is an area around the pacific ocean covering America Alaska South America around Haiti and such places and Japan Indonesia and Phillipines New Zealand. Its sad but true that area has volcanos and massive fault lines. I just feel sad that it does happen and there is nothing we can do to stop earthquakes but countries like Japan have been very clever making their buildings stronger.
