I read somewhere that BST-38 is just an artist in the sense that he likes to make designs of concept SE phones. Which means that the pics he posted may be fake after all. But I also read that is currently preparing a 5MP device with 2.8" screen, which will be the real C912.
Sorry for yet another OOT post. |

Helluuuu!
I meant the Renoir yes.
And from what i've read it doesn't seem to be as "strong" as the C905 except for video recording. And i don't know if you also have to reset the everytime you geotag a shot with the C905 i just read that a tester complanid about that in the Renoir.
(see my earlier post one page back)

The pictures I've seen are excellent quality, and the video recording is the best I have ever seen from a mobile phone. Check out the Preview here at GSM of the Renoir:
Renoir Preview
The video quality is pretty unbelievable really. The C905 walks all over it in terms of the UI, File Management and After Sales Support (firmware updates etc.), but I wouldn't go so far as to say its an unfinished phone.
I'm not really that bothered about the Video Call, cause I've never used it in my life. How many people really do? It's just too expensive!
I just hope this phone isn't buggy and prone to crashes.

Oh i also read that the GPS only works with google maps but that reamins to be confirmed i think. |

As I said, it is only a preview, but that video quality blew me away. I had a Viewty, and didn't like it for a few reasons. But if they have been resolved in the Renoir, it is very tempting.
I love , but sometimes just wish for a change.

Hmm i can't say i'm that impressed by those pics except that flash one.
Hmm i'm a litte worried when i think about the comparision with some of the dalight shots that was made with the innov8 and the C905. The innov8 shots where sharper/more detailed..hope it will sort itself out!

I've got R1BA034 on my C905. I must say the first thing that struck me on the camera is the light sensor (ala K850i) is easily covered if you take a photo in portrait mode (well, depending on how you hold it). If you do slightly cover it, you'll make the flash fire incorrectly and end up with a black photo!
It's fine for landscape photos though, but I don't think the photos I am getting (in daylight) are as good as the Samsung i8510.
The other niggly thing for me is the silly lanyard hook, which I keep rubbing with my little finger - and it feels sharp enough to cut you!
I also got the W902 (and an X1) today so I'm very torn as to which one I want to use day-to-day. I think the X1 automatically loses because it's Windows Mobile, but I think the W902 is actually the nicer looking phone - especially with the music control buttons. It's just the inferior camera, flash and no Wi-Fi that's making the decision so difficult!! Oh, and my W902 has a dead pixel on the display.
I'll try and upload some photos from the C905 again soon (having originally posted the very early ones in June).
