Very interested to test zomgs statement about the C6906 will not use any of the inferior panels at all. I'll probably swing by a Telus and Bell store on the 15th and try to test them out. Maybe even a Sony Store if they have 'em on display by then. The Z Ultra seems to be a Bell exclusive, so if they have it there I'll try to do some side by side comparisons.

Interesting... just checked the sony.ca website and it looks like they've redone it since I was last there. Previously if you went under mobile phones you'd only see the ZL and T, but now there are no phones at all listed there, only some accessories and Smartwatch 2. I didn't realize SM 2 is only $149 CDN... pretty damned cheap! It's tempting, but I think I'll still try to hold out for next years version.

sony store in my city already got Z1 and ZU for testing (no sale), you can walk in and ask to check it out. ZU is definitely not exclusive to BELL. |

yeah thats what i did! and i am quit happy with the phone, and as for the dust, it's really super small, and doesn't sits on the lens, but on the black plastic, so it doesn't affect the photo, so maybe in the future i will take it to sony center so they will clean it off.. not now  my phone screen is perfect.. so i'm good! |

It takes about a month to get used to the camera.. just because phone cameras are not very "forgiving" you have to learn its strengths and weaknesses. |

Dark seems better handled by Z1.

Z1 flash seems considerably weaker, at least in this photo. Do you feel flash is weak?

^ the LED on the note can't be that much stronger... do we have more tests ? I thought GSMarena did a flash test as well |

I'm totally happy with Xperia Z1. Among all smartphones that I have used including Samsung S3 for about three months, this is by far the best and perfect smartphone in every single aspect. Look like I'm going to keep/stay with the phone for a very long time.

I'm probably being foolish and missing the obvious, but can anyone tell me how you enable notifications to stay on in stamina mode. The notification light goes off after a few seconds when in stamina mode and it's annoying me.

Overall No.2 Mobile after Nokia Pureview 808, just 1 point behind 808 Pureview.
And for video No.1 Mobile with a DXOMark Video score of 74

@Randomuser Agreed! I would take DxOMark's word for photography over any mobile review site! Now, I seriously wondering what kind of monster will the Z2 be if it uses a new sensor!
@Everyone Seems like us USA users made the right choice to import our Z1. Seems like the unlocked version is only HSPA+, no LTE model. Of course, if you're willing to go branded just for LTE, T-Mobile will "probably" have it. |
