... wasnt there supposed to be a camera on the front for video calls??? i thought sofia was the successor to the K800, why would they omit this going forward. personally i dont like this design, but to each their own. color me disappointed.
i like the screen though but i hope if this isnt sofia that its more in line with a candybar your not worried about missing/slipping out of your pocket.
I assumed that 'blemish' top left of the 'sofia' pic was a video-call camera. God, if I try hard enough I'll see anything
@deuxani
I understand what your saying about the screen but even if it is as you say, it looks pretty wide.
Also, I'm not sure the casing pics are Elena, especially the rear one.

yea, i see what your talking about however the blemish/"aperture" would appear to be "too" small. this is wholly confusing i would much rather not have had the pictures of this phone and wait than to have them and "know" even less ...
we've waited this long, waiting a few more weeks for the real deal wouldnt have killed us (of course checking this thread everyday also doesnt help) |

@rlaffoon
I think you'll find it's an old JP model, with a 1.3mp camera and that takes memory stick duo cards. I think it was announced January 2005. |

Could be the 2g k790 like version.
This elena pic looks exactly as someone described on that symbian website. The keypad light is meant to be red, but it would look better if the metal is a bit darker. |

i was hoping they would have something up their sleeve to surprise us with to keep alot of us from going to the N95--

How can you dismiss a phone that is only a prototype? Wait for a final version before you complain... |

Bye then!
I've seen so many times before - people judging a phone on the strength of one grainy old photo of a tatty old prototype thats been knocked about a bit.

I think its the flash-on indicator button. These come to life when the phone is held horizontally, in camera-mode. This feature has just been introduced on the K810i. Although, there seems to be more on this phone than on the K810i.
EDIT: I mistook the * key for one

Usually those indicators are on the other side, strange they've moved it. |

Go and buy your N95 already then. Seriously, the amount of posts I see around about how people are threatening on moving to another brand... Go ahead and move already and stop whining. Do you think SE gives a doodle about you? Not everyone wants an all in one phone which weights a tonne and costs a bomb.
Edit: I mean seriously.. Come one.... this is just some picture someone posted and is not even an official picture or statement! This is just plain silly.
*Rant off*
Back to observer mode. LoL.
P/S: Looks promising with the 'new' styles they're trying.
By the way guys, look at the so called "Sofia's" keypads properly. Look above the left Softkey (the key above number 1), on the body you can see the 'phone call' icon on the body, just like how the 'camera functions' are for the keys on the right. For all you know, the current softkey in place with C button could just be a temporary button.
