I don't think its Elena either although for some reason - probably Maria or some other varient. I would expect Cybershot phones to have a lens cover.

1,2,3 look like the softkeys otherwise its UIQ3.
Sorry, but I like my key pad separate from the dpad. I hope they change this. It doesnt look too good.

Unless theres a OPTICAL ZOOM accessory on the way?

I'm not sure how an optical zoom accesory would work.
I have my heart set on Elena having 3.2mp, a lens cover would be nice, high speed data options and great video. All these should be implemented.

Everytime I look at the Elena pic I like it more and more.
For me the wifi option would be enough when it comes to highspeed,but hsdpa wouldnt be bad either.
I wonder what Maria would look like...? And what about the silver one that was posted here a while back (m610)? Why bother releasing it,when se has Elena up their sleeve?
I'd go for Elena everytime! |

Everyone is complaining about the design/UGLYish of the K850.. but 'full-metal body' anyone...?

@xumdeo
Which M series phones corresponds to which photos?
It's getting late in Aus, so I'll stay online for on a little to say what I reckon.
Remember on the first post how I said that there would be a 5MP UIQ phone, I reckon that the "Sofia pic" is it; and the Sofia is made of metal, not gloss. The Sofia is not UIQ remember, so this is a totally different phone. Note the size of the screen, and the very wide size of the phone. That would definitely not be the case for the Sofia (2.2" screen and based on the K610's size).
In addition I'm imagining this as a hard screen UIQ phone.
The three dots below the screen must be softkeys, the pick up button must be net to the back key, the buttons within the metal 'ring' are probably used to scroll like you would with the jog dial, and the 'ring' would be used to navigate four ways.

@Shaliron
So you reckon there are two 5.0MP cameraphones in the pipeline, Sofia and a UIQ based device?
(posted again for reference purposes)
That would be great as it would be good to have a choice. The 'sofia pic' looks very K610i sized to me, just with a larger screen.
Also, judging by the size of the Elena/Maria casing on the other photos, the phones casings do look a bit thicker than the M600i's - as rumoured.

That would be great as it would be good to have a choice. Murmurings of Optical Zoom are cropping up again too.
As you say, it would be good with that choice.
I would prefer a K610i sized 5.0MP phone since that size is so slick.
Would not mind to have it little bit thiner.
I could imagine the same option between the two 5.0MP phones as it is between the K610i and the K800i.
Both 3G camera phones, butt one more focused on photos and the other more focused on communication. |

@ goldenface, we are all getting a bit confused now hehehe. Are these or are these no Elena and Sofia...
Btw....... the screen on the "Sofia" isn't actually that big as it looks like. Zoom in on the photo and you can see in the right hand corner of the screen that the screen actually begins alot more away from the side. It's an optical illusion that the screen is huge. |

... wasnt there supposed to be a camera on the front for video calls??? i thought sofia was the successor to the K800, why would they omit this going forward. personally i dont like this design, but to each their own. color me disappointed.
i like the screen though but i hope if this isnt sofia that its more in line with a candybar your not worried about missing/slipping out of your pocket. |

it is indeed confusing, their proto naming method, and the similarity of leaked device
and that's exactly what they wanted
assuming that what we had on page1 are true, it'll be unlikely to have 2 5MP candybars ready enough to be leaked
whether the screen on the "sofia pic" is wide or not has nothing to do with UIQ, the M600i runs on QVGA anyway. Nothing wrong with making the phone shorter (if it's shorter and thinner than k800i/ n73, why not)
