one thing i can say then, advanced ang la salle even then.
Computerized enrollment na rin kami noon using a PDP 1/11.
We were studying Basic and Fortran using that machine and the terminals were telex machine. Isang type na mali, ulit uli.
When i graduated na nga, I did my thesis on a Sharp MZ80 (the program was backed up on cassettes) and the Science department had an Apple IIe
Ahhh those were the days.

Si Bobby Roleda pa ba ang Dean ng Phys Dept hanggang ngayon (una siya sa akin ng 1 year).

You seem to have fun recalling your student days... during my time it was Php 600 a semester and a 5 peso increase in tuition resulted in the barricading of the campus (this was a public school of course).
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I just spoke with RG a while ago regarding the t68 replacement units... the units have been here since May 8 but are still being held in Customs... they are hoping it could be brought out by tom. or Monday. |
