So how do I manually install this update USP driver?
I added it to my system32/drivers folder but the progress bar still won't do anything after holding the 'C' button down on the update process for longer than 15 seconds. |

Nothing, until you don't do the master rester yourself in the prefs menu.

I updated my K750i which is on orange with no problems but when I checked the software version it was still R1N035. |

Orange didn't probably release the latest FW yet with their logos and menus. Branded phone users should wait a longer time to update.

Maybe a dumb question, but how can is see if my phone is unbranded?

Well if you have a Vodafone, O2, Orange or whatever network operator and bought your phone at their shop. You'll also probably have menus with different colors and/or logos from the original one.

Sure there is, just wait a litle while till all the regions have been uploaded to SEUS, then you and everyone else (except maybe the branded firmwares that need a litle extra) will be able to update.
Its not life or death if you can update it right this second, so have a litle patience |

same here, no progress bar after update r1n035->r1aa008! i was thinking it is bug in my theme, but why i did not get that problem with r1n035? hmm...so i just reselected my current theme from file manager and progress bar is back looks like there is some changes in firmware code or one more bug. |

@numb
good words.
@ALL- spoke to UK SESS 2day re: EU1 for O2 UK. Will be a few days for branded FW. In the meantime relax and watch the fun with SEUS. |

Confirmed. Reselecting or changing theme sorts out the progressbar problem |

with regards to pressing c and the phone just switching on and not starting the update.
I had this on mine but I fixed it by plugging my usb cable into a different slot. Very strange I've no idea why that fixed it. |

Ok so I have R1N035 and Im very satisfied but Im a tech freak so I gotta have the newest version but im EU1 that means I have to wait sure ok no problem but can somebody tell me if the R1N035 is worth updating to R1AA008 and also it would be very useful if somebody could tell me if I have to update the USB Data Driver (I think) specially for this FW update because the last time everything was fine.If anybody can give me answers I would be more then grateful.
Thanks,

For me I see one main reason why the new firmware is important: The earspeaker volume is now as loud as it should. It isn't a small change, it's very noticable and wanted by most of us |

You mean the earpiece volume during calls? |

can anyone tell me if the hissing sound is from mp3 playback or during calls. is there any way to get rid of it, i.e, using the equilizer
