I think it's through SEUS only, not over the air. Will try later today

there is a new software available but its still 2.3.3
i didnt get through SEUS but got the firmware from XDA

there are lot of addition
1.zoom in camera
2.theme support
3.new widgets
4. XLoud. need to check the loudness.. cant check as im in office...
5.New setpup menu
6.smooth performance than before.
7.modifications is messgae colors.
8. Diplay OFF animation. (ooh.. i forgot)

just flashed.. need to check for the changes....
this update is wonderful...

so the update needs to be done using SEUS or can be done OTA?? Does it wipe out all user data or not? Cheers

if the update is available to ur region then u can update using SEUS or OTA.
it will wipe the data if u select reset data.
so far no issues.. working pretty smooth...

Hi anyone having trouble with the Proximity sensor as my friends arc is playing up?

Most of the time the screen will not blank out during or recieving a call and when the screen does blank he has to remove the battery and restart. He has little or no apps installed and NO app managers

any sugestions??

Failing that, is there an app that will disable the sensor completly so the screen stays on?

Anyone in the UK got the update? using SEUS and OTA both say no new updates... have tried the pc companion, but it says that it keeps coming up with cannot connect message??

But the question is if it KEEPS your data just like the previous firmware update.

Sorry i flashed through flash tool so didn't get a chance. And i dont bother wiping the data as I've back ups.

The best mobile phone brand died with Sony Ericsson's death. Shame on you Sony for killing it! And, of course, for ruining the Xperia brand...

looks like update has been pulled back, latest update that is mentioned on SE site is 30th May...
Also some guys on xda are reporting battery drain...

I dont observe any battery drains. May be i didnt observe clearly..
