Is there anyway to change an Orange W800's CDA permenantly to allow it to be updated with unbranded firmware on SEUS?

Just upgraded via SEUS without a hitch... I have a EU_4 phone that underwent a failed upgrade 3 days ago.

What I noticed after the failed upgrade was that the progress bars disappeared! This is the only problem I encountered, and I was hoping it be fixed with this successful upgrade, but it wasn't.

Has anybody else encountered this?

Just updated my Swedish unbranded K750 using SEUS without the memorystick in the slot.

No problems. Update completed successfully. Reinserted memorystick. Swedish language still there. No settings or info lost.

R1AA008 now in use.

*To all those who have updated to new firmware*

Please could you tell me if browsing photos is any faster than the previous firmware (K750i)?

Thanks

Confirmed. No progress bars here either. Just the background color.
I successfully updated right away. No "com. errors".

I had that problem after the update failed, but the progress bar came back after a short while (before I managed to successfully update today).

Hi,

I've got problems trying to update; when it states I must disconnect the USB cable from my phone, turn the phone off, hold 'C' and then reconnect phone after 15 seconds... The progress bar does not move... it stays on 0% for however long I hold the 'C' button down for.

What am I doing wrong?

I don't believe I have. However, when I press the 'C' button no "add new hardware" comes up. So I'm stuck.

Dont take this the wrong way, but you are pressing the "C" button on your phone and not on your keyboard arent you?
