Hi all, just got my K750i few weeks ago. I have a few questions here, hope you guys can assist me!

i) is there any way to mute the sms alert tone while i'm doing other tasks? eg. while i'm composing new text msg, i received a sms and i want to mute the alert tone.

ii) is it possible to have flight mode for media player for my K750i?

iii) i copied a .jpg file to my default camera folder but i couldnt view it from my phone, what's the problem?

Many thanks!

1. I don't think that's possible, except if u switch the sms tone off all together. 2. I think the only way 2 achieve that is by flashing ur phone 2 a w800i using DaVinci. 3. I think the phone will only read a default named jpg in that folder.

I have just obtained a W800. Nice phone and a damned relief to get back to Sony Ericsson after having broken my P900. Two tips from me :

#1
From any SE phone : send all your contacts to your PC, you'll get a .VCF file.
(I used to backup my P900 contacts like this)

With a new or empty phone : send the .VCF to the phone, the contacts are restored including the caller images (wow!)

#2
hold down volume up or down to skip tracks or stations whilst the phone is in sleep mode and you're listening to the MP3 or radio.

The menu key (I presume the one with the W logo on it) should take you to the Walkman app.

Hey there everyone, I just received my K750i a few days ago and love it so far. Just wanted to see if anyone knows of a way that I can have a private folder somewhere... anywhere on my phone. I know about the "code memo" but I believe it only holds text... no pictures, sounds, movies, etc. Is this even possible on this phone?

Oh, also, since I'm asking a question anyway... is it possible to record the radio while listening to it?

- sorry for the dumb questions, thanks in advance

I'm pretty sure there are Java apps which allow you to create password protected files.

Try looking at www.getjar.com or www.midlet.org

Fileprotect is pretty good although there's a catch : the .JAD doesn't work therefore security prompts will appear for every file access.
