Sup whizkidd, long time no see. Is Opera v8 refusing to play nice with your QD? Like my 6620?
Got to hold the QD in my hand yesterday, after also looking at the Panasonic x700 - dont like the x800 - and the QD felt sweet! |

@prom1 lol opera not exiting even after 9 hours of usage is a GOOD THING 
it does have an exit man-
see i installed it after comple removing 6.2. It installed without a hitch.

Mailliw, where did you get an audio track? Well ur options are 2 contest it 2 aac, if you want 2 keep same size. Or just convert 2 mp3.

Hey....does the 6680/6630 etc play ogg format....if its supported, you might want to try converting mp3 to ogg...it gives the same quality at a little over half the file size

mrao, ogg codec isnt there by default but get the free player OggPlay and it'll be good to go. For almost any S60 phone. Ogg format, is sweet for its file size, but the quality isnt as great as AAC or MP3. Though not a bad compromise, most dont even notice. Good suggestion! |

@prom1, I use PowerMP3, which plays MP3 & Ogg both....has a 10 band equalizer....( eq doesnt work with ogg files though)...which i found to be better than OggPlay....It works extremely well on my p910i, im not too sure if there's an s60 version..

looks like a program ill have 2 check out. The equalizer sounds really cool.
Say Paul, how is the text entry for posting on forums without the notes. Using Opera.
Who is upgrading 2 6680 or waiting for N70.?! |

Ok here after you type out /match the word you can't reselect it- thats the major issue. The cursor won't select the word again so if you've used a wrong word you'll have to delete it and type afresh.
3>while typing passwords you have to obviously use the multitap right? So here when you enter a password- if you've made a mistake and delete it reveals the character directly next to the one you delete. I didn't like this privacy bug

@paul, now I see ur plight with Opera. It still needs major work. I dont like using v6.2 because posting with it is a nightmare, some words in the text entry box, like what I'm posting in right now, doesnt display some words. Gets hard if the word in T9 is exactly what I'm guessing.
I dont know if I can hold out with the 6620 until the N70 is released. Will suck to see some kids with a better phone than me in the subway. |
