Add another to the list of people joining the UK thread !

A few quick points for comment :

- Orange WAP gateway does not tolerate large image files, but is
upgraded later this year. Vodafone gateway can push through large image
files, but limitation here is the SE T68/T68i WAP browser - it doesn't
like things over 3 Kb - I can guarantee you though that Voda gateway
will put files through over 5 Kb ( obviously some of this has been said
before )

- mp3 player - does anyone have a problem of looseness of this accessory
- mine is now so loose that it disconnects REALLY often ( like with the
slightest touch ). The MCA-20 is a really tight fit, as is the desk
charger, but this mp3 player is winding me up ! I think the fact the
connectors are plastic does not help - any remedies anyone ?

Cheers everyone in the UK !

Hello and welcome! Yes the MP3 player connection problem you describe appears to be common. There's a thread on it somewhere with some solutions (I think cleaning was one). I had the same problem with my player so I exchanged it for a new one but this still isn't brilliant! Sometimes it's OK sometimes it's not!

Also I've haven't managed to get a data file over 3kb on Voda yet for instance downloading themes etc. Didn't know it was due to the browser though?

Sorry don't know. Try phoning them or checking on the net against their in-store prices.

Hello All,

Yes the limit on any network with the T68i is about 3 Kb because thats the limit of the WAP browser throughput. However, you can obviously put much larger files on using the data cable.

The limit is negotiated between the browser and the gateway - I have tried phones that negotiate a higher limit, and have pushed through much bigger pictures. Orange is the exception due it's small throughput at the gateway.

On a slightly different note, if anyone knows where the partial solutions are to my headset/mp3 problems, can they please give me a URL for it as it is REALLY REALLY irritating - now even the slightest movement disrupts it.

I rang SE about it and they said send it to Celestica, who I guess are the repair company - takes 10 days supposedly.

Any other ideas ?

Luigi's Mansion is a pretty good game! I've played it loads over the past couple of weeks along with Rogue Leader! Not in the same league as Mario64 but a good build up to Mario Sunshine and the graphics are excellent! Still haven't got into Sonic yet but there's time! I would recommend Luigi though if you haven't played Sonic in a while - better game I think by far!

hehehe but saying that a memory card would help then you could play both!

Anyway have a good weekend peeps!

Ed
