Zack posted on weibo renders of new phones for his followers to see.
One of them answered " I hope this is true. 5 series will be sad to die".
With the comment, there is a picture about a "Pro C" and its specs list.
This is not first time someone mentions a phone that would have 6.0" screen + type 1.0 exmor.

Seems very suspicious, because if there is no 5 mark 6 anymore, then sony would have nothing to bring in september. And what was the last time sony did not announce anything in september/october?

Look at these promo images for xperia 1 vi looks like they are promoring high brightness just like the new bravia 9, vapor chamber is here.
The only thing left on my wishlist is dual sim + sd card rather than the hybrid slot really miss that form z5

These promo materials really don't say anything, so I guess it's Sony marketing doing the hype here.
When it comes to Sony PDT-FP1 it's a spiritual successor to Xperia PRO no doubt. Their R&D in Xperia will give them edge in upcoming professional mobile products. Hopefully new mobile 1" camera device will be a spiritual successor to PRO-I too. I guess Sony has finally figured out how to make bucks in professional mobile market. Good for them. |

Some specs seem plausible like display, chipset, battery and sensor size but ... 120fps cont shooting doesn't exist on any Sony camera except the newest A9M3 right now as well as 60fps RAW (I think Alpha 1 has 20fps RAW). S-Log for mobile has been a rumor for quite a while now so I doubt it.
I suppose this thing is some RX/Phone hybrid and if only half of these specs are true then I would hit it like asap. |

Speaking of Creative Look, yes 10VI have them 
The rest of rumors are wishful thinking at this stage But I can say since the compact RX line are effectively dead, so there will be less "competition" between their own phone and camera
Oh and Vapor Chamber on 1VI didnt help anything really, still hot based on my personal experience. |

New camera UI that we saw in the real leak is the BASIC UI redesign right? On the bottom are scrollable AI modes in the BASIC mode. How do we switch to PRO modes like P,S,M and Video Pro? |

xperia burst HDR turns 90fps into 30fps. 3 into 1.
So, almost there already.
There are some rumors imx610 (A1) can do 50fps @240 fps. Nobody knows if that version of Bionz Xr is the bottleneck or if sony does not see need to unleash its full power. Maybe to avoid too much heat caused by this huge processing required. Rx100 7 has 90fps@20MP. Old sensor.
Nothing impossible. I just think 6" screen on phone like this is bit waste. Basically as small as S24. Should be 6,5" too. |

They may soon release final financial numbers. Between april/23 and december/23, xperia generated almost 83% of the revenue compared to same period of previous year. |

Since I am beginnig to have passion for photography, I'll probably skip on an Apple if only Sony can provide a minimum of at least 3 years of OS update and an additional security updates. Any news if Sony will improve on this?

Everything is inside the newly unified camera app, same like Chinese brands.

Thanks a lot brother. I am not looking forward to a bundled app but can't wait to try it. I actually had no problem with dedicated apps i just had problem wirh switching between apps without PRO-I extra hardware button. |
