A whole new design!
Not just the XZ series with smaller bezels. Nodar's renders are about as close to the real thing as I am to Jupiter.
Just wait and see, it'll be worth it. 😀

I was a bit surprised to see the Sony Alpha logo on the renders and even though they are nice to look at I'm hoping the real deal will be something completely different. I can't wait to see them now.
Let's hope for some leaks that will give us some idea what to expect.

If things truly are as spectacular as you XJ are making it to be, then SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!

Me too. It seems like we set ourselves up for disappointment each year and are underwhelmed, but we never learn from our mistakes.
To be fair, we do have it from a few sources now that the omnibalance era is coming to an end, which bodes well for 2018.

If the XZ1 is replaced so soon, I'd be very annoyed because it isn't cheap. A lot of hype around the design but it's still a slab so I would say that it will come more into line with the vast number of small bezel phones. Also, consider the ergonomics so for it to be comfortable, it shouldn't be shaped like the McD's apple pie, SD835 as well so lets not get ahead of ourselves.
