The wait for the Z1 is even harder than waiting for it to be announced...... I just wish that SONY would released them already.....
@moogoo Negri only deals with grey market product, I know because I purchase from them. They're one of my sources for importing phones, others are Expansys, Clove, Plemix, and when I or family member visit Hong Kong. Another way you can tell is, they're not an authorized dealer for SONY. |

Yes. Docomo version has
1. Locked Bootloader
2. Docomo Bloatware
3. Slower Official updates
4. Docomo logo
Sorry I'm not familiar with the android system yet
Is the bootloader unlockable?
Once the bootloader is unlocked, I can simply flash any official ROM for other region or a custom ROM to remove any docomo bloat ware right? Please correct me if I'm wrong. |

Thanks all for the replies
So it seems bootloaders can be unlocked in general. The question is can it be unlocked on docomo models and if docomo will not charge you like if you were using an unknown device.
I will ask sony on the 14/15 when trying z1

Docomo phone/tablet bootloader cannot be unlocked. They are permanently locked. |

My stolen Z was purple - my ZU was white and I have ordered a Black Z1, I like the black with the aluminium silver frame it just looks class, the white ZU was nice too with the silver frame, I would have ordered white if black had been all black, ordered from Negri at just under 500 sterling including delivery, I live in Asia so it will come direct from China over the next two weeks |
