I like that alot. Either WM or Android, then. Hopefully a new version of the former, IMO. |

Hey hey hey, you cant say things like that >D. Remember that this is an industry where manufacturers MUST follow trends set by other manufacturers when they catch on. If SE would have been the only ones selling phones with good cameras since the K750, they would be the only manufacturer left. Similarly, if noone imitated some of Apples good ideas, noone would ever have decided against sole use of a stylus for a UI design. Following trends is inevitable for the survival of any company. Sony Ericsson must follow the trends of more successful manufacturers to stay relevant- they HAVE TO embrace more touchscreens and more feature packed high enders, new and better UIs etc. Similarly WM must emulate the advantages of other OS's to remain competitive. No matter how large and previously successful a company is, if it never does anything new, it will fail. There will have to be new versions of WM for that reason. Same sort of reasons for SF to be made, and I suppose A200 wil need to be replaced in the not too distant future, because people will be very bored of it sooner or later (I find it really boring). So I dont think WM will be able to be so snobbish- it will have to offer something new or something else will replace it, IMO.

ares just hates WM and it's his right.
I'm also not primarly the biggest fan of it,
but If I'd be pressed to use X1 on WM
or Symbian Touch on Nokia,
I would choose Xperia. Partially because Nokia is so badly designed, both UI and hardware.
Just different priorities.
Anyway we will see WM on SE just because they've signed further developement. |

I get a new mobile paid from work and am doing my best to delay for the next Symbian from whatever that may be. We have info about Hikaru which is confusing because some think its a Walkman, personally I have no idea.
I'm interested in a Walkman touchscreen so any ideas or info at all? Will it have a d-pad, keypad, WM (God forbid)? There is no info about this at all. I've been told that Nokia have a "square iPhone" looking phone with better specs than the N97.
A few nipple slips from would be good, maybe Santa could give us an early present (no pressure BTW). The best I could do is find out that the "Symbian from will be appreciated by UIQ users", and "there is a phone similar to N97 but with better specs". I asked my source about the JavaOne phone and got "if I tell you I would have to kill you" and "that video was old so don't expect THAT phone to look the same".
should have the JavaOne phone close to completion now since it was supposed to be released this year but I don't know what to expect. Is that video still relevent to any upcoming phone? Help me out here................ |

Hey guys
Is a successor to the Sony Ericsson C702 expected in the future? Or was it a one-time only experiment? |

That N97 phone thing sounds nice Hope they have improved the interface a lot, though. Nokia interface stil sucks.
Is there really an C702 successor? Afaik the C702 wasn't really succesfull? Or am I terribly wrong here? |
