xumdeo already posted sample shots from C905 at the 2008 thread, but i didn't see the link here so i decided to port it here and at GSMArena, anyway i'm pretty impressed with the quality of the images on outdoors

Seeing this phone next to the Nokias just reminds me of one of the reasons why I always come back to SE. I love the look of (most of) their phones! UI is my favorite too.
I'm assuming the difference in the 8 vs 8.1 MP is due to prototypes from different dates or something.....further along the production line if that makes any sense. |

".1"mp label is just a marketing tactic the X and Y resolution is 3264*2448 which is closely 7.990272 or 8 megapixels. SE and others use this for marketing's sake.
for example:
S700 has 1280x960 resolution: when computed = 1.228mpixels - basically not 1.3mp while SE W550 has a 1280x1024pixels when computed = 1.31mpixels, so the latter is a true 1.3mp

jmcomms told me a couple pages ago that it does have the soft rubbery back. Much better than the cheapy plastic feeling of your average cell phone |
