aaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh.... READ WHAT I WRITE:
ps..you wrong about one thing though (thats for raederski)... k750 and w800 have NOT the same camera brandning...thats why K750 produce slightly better pictures.
so it dosent mather if it have the same camera module...ok !
ps. i didnt know k750 & w800 used the same cam driver.. mine K750 had not the same cam driver like w800 (i think..not sure)
now i post some pics instaed...i will not destroy this thread again

yep... even one more person who finds faults on the pictures...so now its purple fringings everywhere...(K850 sufferds of that sometimes yes i know..but C902 ???

are some of you guys jelaous (or something), you just looking & looking for some silly crap to say ?????
we post some really stunning pictures in this thread (with and without full size), the picture-quality have been massive improved by and you guys complains and come up with answers like "purple fringing" (who no one ever have seen, except for one guy)..or oohhh, "the same pictures again"...god damn, if you want to see some other pcs, just look backwards in the thread man.

Most of those are the wrong kind of pics to show purple fringing, as it usually occurs where there is high contrast, like when there's black and white together (as you should know, Plank).
In any case, you can see fringing around the top of the coke can, and the top of the coffee mug.
I wouldn't worry Plank, I wasn't saying the phone's camera is bad (you inferred that). I think the camera is pretty good. The colours are at least better than the K850's, although they do look slightly purple in some photos. With newer firmware I'm sure the quality will get even better.
Even the Nikon D50 produces purple fringing if you blow the picture up big enough!

By the way, I'm not the only one to see it - check back in the thread. Purple fringing is the same as chromatic aberration, which a few people have mentioned. Hope that helps.

and it only happens in rare occasions... and in this case i need a very close look to see them..
with this newer firmware.. the C902 pictures improved alot...
btw... it could be better if SE uses a better post processing algorithm.
and plankl... i like your pics.. some of them really shows the potential of this phone! |

ok, let say like this... all cell phones cameras have more or less purple fringing...(yes ? ).. but like you said C902 have nearlly invisible..so whats the point to shout out "it suffers of purple fringing" ????
when i look at full size pics with c902 (in 100% crop), i dosent see nearlly anyone purple fringing... do you ????

edit... i have never said w902 will be a bad camera shooter..i think it will be really good, (just not exactley the same as c902).. nothing else
edit again... can someone give me the link there it says w902 have the same camera as c902...cant find it

honestly... 90% of the C902 shootings are "purple fringing" free!
and in the rest... it's nearly invisible... yes it's there but it's not something that other users are shouting about....
waiting for more pictures from you!!
no i have not seen any yet! (i meant this 1.8 camdriver as the newer one in comparison to the early prototype)
but on the C902 firmware thread it says that the R3CA033 is on SEUS but only for O2 UK for now.! |

Although a few of the top mobile camera phones dont have purple fringing so to accept it isnt really an excuse IMO. For example: Nokia N82, LG Secret, Samsung Soul. |

N82 shows purple fringing in instances. We dont have a dedicated N82 thread, unlike the C902, and we also have a lack of Nokia haters, thus the backlogs are held back..  |

I didn't said that K750 and W800 was great idea, both have identical camera hardware and software solutions until CID49 hardware revision killed quality of pictures in K750, nevermind... what was great: there was no Cyber-shot brand
