I've just noticed that on the K850i Laser Precision theme, the one with the falling tiles? The tiles fall depending on how you tilt the phone. EG, if you tilt the phone sideways, the tiles fall sideways.

Nice little touch.

How the hell is anyone going to be able to tell the fps with just their eyes, get real. The video is 10x times better than the K800i, and it is smooth with hardly any noticable lag.

BLUETOOTH REVELATION!!!!!!!!!

DOnt know if this has been posted, but i found another website (sorry , i know i strayed!!!) that told me how the always allow connection thing works.

instead of pairing the mobile and computer via the phone u do it via the laptop. then once it asks for access the first 2 times the addition always allow option pops up. u then have it as an option under the device in my devices....not sure if u could pair a tom tom and mobile this way though....

one more thing, has anyone figured out how to disassenble the k850i yet?

my third one (recap 1st dodgy speaker, 2nd dodgy D pad) has had the keypad placed on it slighty (very very slightly) askew. Most people probably wouldnt notice but i am slightly OCD!!!!! at night the light behind the keypad is slightly more visible.

my old k700i, well u could strip that baby down and give it a good clean etc, but a bit wary of trying to prise thr keypad out and realigning it.....

1. The smearing I've solved by carrying around a lens wipe (the one you get with the W800 ) and just wiping it everytime I'm irritated. I wear glasses anyway so it's beneficial for me to carry one.

2. Go to Menu -> Settings -> Toolbar -> New Events -> Pop-up and see if it fixes the problem.

3. The only problem I've had is thta I keep selecting the middle softkey when going to press 'up' on the d-ring.

cheers.

i dont have that menu you refer to...but i did find:

Menu > Settings > NEW EVENTs > changed to pop-up from ACtivity Menu, and now it asks if i want to read the text before displaying it.

Cheers that helps.

my gripes about the k850i:

1. The smearing - phone looks fine in low light, but when using it in the day the whole front and back is smeared beyond belief and looks disgusting.

2. Text message notification - my mobile was sat on my desk at work, a message came in and popped up on the front of the display. THe person standing at my desk was able to read the message. Hardly discreet. Is it possible to stop that happeninG? i want to press a button to read a text, not have it on general display.

3. The keys - had the phone 2 weeks now and still cant get used to the keys. I keep clashing with the cursor square amongst other things and i cant type text at speed.

About the smearing:
Just buy krussel classic case-problem solved!

Well i have one solution(wich i think is not fullfilling)
Zoom in two or three times on the shot you want to use as a wallpaper and then choose "use a wallpaper" Then you get a sharper wallpaper.
But i for one would like to have the "whole" shot, as i took it, as i wallpaper!
Hope someone points this out to SE so that they can fix it in the next firmware. Also if they could fix the blurring of shot when watching them i the media menue!

Well this is fun: My phone won't restart! I was going to turn it off and star it up again to get rid of the "gost pics" that keeps showing in the media browser, after oyu have erased some pics. And the phone just vibrates and lights up the display with the SE logo shortly. After that the disply is dark but the phone vibrates and lights up the key pad again and again. I tried to take the battery out but that doesn't seeme to help. And the battery had a good 20% left at least. And i don't think its the sim-card because it works well in my other phone.

Anyone got any ideas??

Thanks but that din't do it sadly enough. It's just turning on the key lights on and off. I got a tip to have the phone shut down for at least 30 min. will try that. Any other ideas?

@LCARS

Yes. They glow in the dark. I noticed it when I tried to take a picture in pitch dark. [addsig]
