Thx 4 the personal touch on those farfields. Tried new K800 pack - very satisfied (especially with bass on earphones!) My curiosity led me to try W880 pack immediately afterwards. For the nxt few days I'll b switching between those 2 new packs and give some feedback on both. Thx again PedroPS!

this may sound dumb but as i'm a noob..
what's the folder name should i create in order to upload em into my k800.. in XS ++ ..for example this acoustic drivers..
please help. |

Thank you PedroPS! I have a k790 but not with firmware R8BA024R, does it mean I should install the new acoustics pack? I'm installing the farfield files, nonetheless.

the new driver is very good to me, and i appreciate your work. if you don't mind, could you please mode the headphone volume to the original one for me?? coz i can't stand with that high while the moded driver has good quality. i want to enjoy high quality music, but not that loud. thanks |

lower the volume if it's to loud for you...

even the lowest level, it's stil loudest for me. if with original driver, it would be better for me. that's why i want pedrops to lower the volume to the ori. one if he dont mind to change for me. plz help me!! |

Farfields are louder than on V2.. if they are good I'll up a new V2 with it, and some ring and alerts fixes =]
I don't like W880 acoustics on K800.. but there's so many people who like it, that I had to make something for them 
There's that extreme farfield play for W880.. too loud for me, but some people will like it

Hey Andik, there's a link on first page to the pack with IFS letters on it.
Thats a zip file containing the folder structure you need to use with XS++
just unzip and the folders will be created =]

You can try them.. but honestly the best acoustics to R1KG001 firmware is V2. This new R8 V1 only sounds good on phones with R8 firmware!
yeah farfileds you can use independent the firmware you use!

R8 K800 acoustic pack is incredible so far - I can't find any problem with it - perfect blend of loudness, quality & clarity with regards to ALL criteria. The W880, on the other hand, is too "trebly" for me and it also produces a hissing sound on backspeaker (when played loud), but well done for beefing it up - it's still far better than original W880 acoustics (with the addition of bass) in my opinion. I'm sticking with new R8 K800 pack for now. Keep up the good work & thx for keeping the legacy alive & kicking!!! :]
