AAH, Sony Failed me again, 3gp = crap, maan did u c the video quality of the n93 and the n95? nevertheless, i still prefer this phone against any nokia phone, i love sony ericsson.

That phone captures video @ 320x240 30fps, my w900i does the same, where is the improvement? Maybe the w960i has a little bit more bitrate than the w900i.

Anyhow, can you send me the same video sample u have on youtube on my email: rocker_baby_3@hotmail.com, i would really appretiate doing so .

Any idea when this phone is going to be released in United arab emirates?

thanks for you reply .

thanks PK for the review!

just 2 questions:

- does it has a qwerty onscreen keyboard, just like the w950?
- how is the battery doing compared to the P1i and is there any chance that the W960 by the release date will support the P1i battery?

many thanks!

Yes it does have the onscreen QWERTY keyboard same as the W950i, P990i, P1i.

Battery i think will be changed from BST 33 which i have.

sorry pk, i asked u a lot of things and i'm sorry... is it possible to receive some answers (if u have time)?

i think it could be usefull to watch a video where there are basic functions done with the fingers.

i try to explain:

_block/unblock the screen with bottom-left + other switch
_set the phone in silence mode (bottom-right swtch)
_write an sms
_answer a call
_call a friend (his number is in the rubrica)
_receive a message and reply to it...

is it possible not to have the walkman app always on the center of the screen?

what about the menu icons on the bottom-left of the screen?

10x!

cheers for the review. am looking forward to getting this one.

how do you fast forward a song? (you can f/f a track in the k750 by pushing the joystick to the right)
Also, I heard that the box comes with a case. Is that right?

@PK,
Can you tweak the EQ, manually?
The three touch keys under the screen, i know they used to pause\\play and preview\\next while playing a song.
But what happen if you press them when not using walkman?
THANKS BUDDY.

@ kaiba

Jimster71 replied to this in the general W960i thread: the 3 walkman keys do not have any effect when the walkman is turned off.

No AVI file works.

Unless you add 3rd party software.

thnx for the info, although it's kinda disappointing that w960 doesn't play all media such as avi and some other extensions
btw do u know any 3rd party software that can open avi files and all media?
(maybe core player?)

@fizzil, the post above yours will play avi files on the w960i without doubt, don't see what all the fuss is about really regarding media playback!! As the Mp4 videos i have watched are 30fps TV quality and Loud as hell. This phone is amazing to watch videos on as this is one thing i do most, the screen is huge and speakers brilliant, surely divx/avi/xvid/mpeg files will play with relevant software if you install it, this device is a video machine and yes folks 8gb is almost full
