SE has fooled people with this cheap quality mobile.Expensive, cheap and POOR construction, Poor keypad, no AF.
I changed it twice in 10 days ---read my posts if you wish- and I have felt sooooo fooled.Spain price is 330 euros now......a lot for such a bad joke.

Good sound, yes.
But the correct price is 170 euros and with normal standarts of quality,no sliders that loose in hours and non-fitting covers nor breaking keypads.Come on!!!!!!!

Its a brilliant phone. Bowt 6 weeks now. Going great. The circular navi key lost its color in a strange kinda way lol But it looks even better now!
No cracked keys. My msg counter is at 3256
The keypad is quite nice once u get used to it. The display is very fine.
Sound is good from the loudspeaker. I miss the powerful bass of W810i coz the new Walkman 2.0 seems to have lesser bass. However the stereo reproduction is better. The sounds comes out nicely.
The camera is.... wel to be honest... mediocre. No flash No AF. Leaves much to be desired. But this is a walkman. So its OK. Moreoever, its better than its other competitors from LG/Nokia/Samsung/Motorola.
The Light Effects are really really awesome 
The over-all design is great.

To Anyone,
I am considering to buy this phone.
I would like to know if it it possible to make a playlist of video's /mp4 in the MyMusic/ Walkman menu???
AND I DON'T MEAN THE FILE MANAGER, where you can see all video's-mp4 and audio-mp3.
In my old W810 I could see a playlist of all MP4- videos in the Walkman Menu.
Hope you can help me with that?? |

I've had my W580i (grey version) for just over 2 months now, and today have noticed my first cracked key. The message counter is only 454.
I'm SO disappointed. Does anyone know if the shop I bought it from should replace it (Carphone Warehouse) or whether they will need to send it away to be repaired? |

Got it repaired in Carphone Warehouse under warranty. Took about 4 days. Apparently they replace them with a keypad which wont crack, but feels exactly the same to me! |

i got the phone for bout 2 month... and keypad cracked... but i wont change it..... i rather stick with this baby here... too beautifulll and i finnallly flashed some themes on it...... chEERS!!! great phone by sony!!!
Look at the photo..... it have the flash theme... and u can notice the cracked keypad on keypad #2,3,4 and 6..... i can live with em.... in fact.... i dun really care if they crack.... they are still usable:)

Got the phone about 2 weeks ago - no cracked keys yet for me, but I don't txt a lot.
Wondering if there's a way to get the light behind the nav key to turn off automatically - it stays on when the screen goes dark and drains the battery.
Otherwise, love the thing. Oh - and you can get new keypads on eBay if you want to change the colors or otherwise replace it yourself.

Push down on the middle seection at the same time as sliding downwards. Its awkward but does work eventually. |
