Got mine yesterday and transfered my contacts from MS Outlook with no problems. The only problem is that is taking ages to transfer my files from my previous phone P310 to the K810i. Its taking loads of time and I don't know why.

By the way, a quick reminder of the latest firmware please?

I've used PhotoFix on a few photos and seems to work fine (using a T-Mobile one that has since been debranded). Your problem sounds strange as you've got a simfree one. Tried a master rest yet?

fotofix takes a little time, its because the phone rebuild everything (whitness, colors, sharpness, gamma, etc). with my phone it maybe takes 1 minute or something.

i love the fotofix function, its works really well when you take dark pics.

Same with mine. Usually nearer 3 seconds.

I have flashed my K800i four times to K810i via Wotan Server, from R1KC001, R1KD002, R1KF001 and R1KG001 just to test the backlit phenomenon. No, problem. My phone is back to K800i perfectly. Anyway, how about the EROM info I request? Please, post the info. Does it say SIBLEY SEMCUSB FLAFLA WILMA or SIBLEY SEMCUSB FLAFLA SAMANTHA? Thanks again.

You said no problem. Does this mean your backlight was fine?

Is there a torch light on the K810i? Sorry if the answer is posted elsewhere, but couldn't find it...
