I still believe, 100.1.200.99 is fastest. I get 5-6KB at daytime and webpages load very fast. I can't say about 100.1.200.16 as it's not working here.
I think there is no need to connect 2 accounts at a time. Just one account is required. Dial to that account from pc and open any bookmark in ur handset(you get "No server access" error) using same account. Don't disconnect pc dialup connection while opening a bookmark. After closing the browser in phone, you will get full gprs in pc.
But, speed is less when compared with airtel online apn. So I am not using this method. But this method is working 100% on 6600 and 6630. |

Dear friends,
The same above method can be used if u want to browse in handset. But the difference is you require 2 accounts with having same settings. But I have tested this method only on 6600 & 6630. I can't say about others. If anyone wants more details, PM me. |

Browsing in phone will work only those devices which can run two or more apps at a time with a multi gprs channel. in case of nokia its works pretty well in s60 n above but in s30 n s40 it wont work as they wont support multiple apps at an instant,......

This is very important , guys.
Those people who are not able to dial the second account, please try this and give me feedback.
Delete all previous accounts and create a new AirtelLive account and activate it (only one)
(1) Connect your mobile to the PC.
(2) Open Hyperterminal (Start-->All programs-->Accessories--> Communictions--> Hyperterminal)
(3) Give any name for the 'New Connection' window and click OK
(4) Select 'COM 1' in 'Connect Using' ( This is for my serial cable. You need
to select the appropriate COM port the mobile is connected)
(5) Select 9600 as Bits Per Second and click OK
(6) Type 'at' ( without the quotes) and press ENTER. If you get OK you are
ready to go. If you get some strange characters, create a New
Connection from the File menu and choose a different speed. Do this
until you get OK for 'at' command.
(7) Now type the following command exactly:
at+cgdcont=2,"IP","airtelfun.com"
and press ENTER. You will get an OK confirmation.
(8) Close Hyperterminal.
(9) Now create a dial-up connection (if you have not done so yet) and
dial up to *99***2#
Please tell me if you can connect with this or not.

Thanks a lot for your method.
But whenever I put at+cgdcont=2,"IP","airtelfun.com" in extra initialization command, I am not able to connect.
For nokia s60 users, there is no need to dial for the second account. As I said before, you need one a/c. It's working!!! |

dear spartan, i am a firmware developer,i created lot of firmwares and software. i see lot of people in net. but no one match you. you are the real genius. last week i purchased another phone(samsung x660).just use the method you give. it realy works. i posted this reply via SPARTON AIRTEL GPRS. Hi everybody! I have just registered and posting for the first time. I have SE K700i and the sparton's method is working for me. I am able to connect to the free internet on my PC via Bluetooth using Airtel Live.
But I am not able to access the internet on the phone. I have tried both 2nd and 3rd method. I have just installed opera mini on my phone which looks quite nice, so i am very eager to surf the internet on the phone.
So sparton 117 if you read this please help, I will be grateful to you. |

Congrats dude, I am glad that it works for you 
Although you had to buy a new phone , I think it was worth it.
Enjoy it buddy, till Airtel blocks us.

I agree with ronny.
You have to call CC and tell them your problem. Before that make sure that all the settings are correct.

Hi santan,
If you have K700i , you do not need the third method . Method 2 will give you full GPRS (temporarily) on your mobile.
Make sure you have followed all the steps to the T.
Since you have the first method working, just check this.
1) Have you selected Profile TWO as the account for Streaming Settings
( Connectivity--> Streaming Settings--> select Airtel2 )
2) Connect to Airtellive-->Videos & Live TV--> Live Streaming-->
CNBC or Aaj Tak
3) You will get 'unknown media'. Ignore it and you can access any site.
If you get 'Access Denied', just try again. I assure you that this
method works well.

It means you typed the command wrongly, check it again.
Did you try what Alan said
1) Connect the dial-up connection with dial-up number *99***1#
2) Pick up the phone and try to access any site from the Bookmarks, ignore
the error and start using net on PC.
I hope this is what he meant
Also did you try Method 3
1) Connect to AirtelLive on mobile (make sure you have selected first
account as active)
2) From PC dial up to *99***1#
Once the connection is established you can browse on mobile.
