Whats the functionality like when the flip is closed? i really hope they improve it from what the P910i had,i mean it was only a minor gripe of mine,but itd be nice to be able to browse the net/look at pictures etc with the flip closed.

I already know that It’s damn slow, and that the standby-time sux! But I don’t find that strange, because it will take months before it will hit the market. And they sure will improve the phone in many many ways until then.
I mean it’s only a prototype, what do you expect? ) |

When it comes it SE I expect cellular perfection. Right now in early beta this P990i is like the hottest women in the city with no real substance to take around town, or take home to the parents.
But that will come in time. I read somewhere that when the cellular is in "offline" mode; that WiFi will still work for internet & emails. sweet! Even when on a plane. |

@prom:
So you're saying the p990 is the hot airhead you pick up at the club and use for a night, but don't play trivial pursuit with the next day?
sorry couldn't help it.

@Gigs, lol. Thats pretty close. But when your going with a phone with caliber its all or nuthing. Ya got to be serious about your daily calls, PIM, Email, organization, pics, videos, etc. The whole package. A girl you keep - for many reasons. Especially for heritage.
You dont pick a girl if your mom is ugly; cause she'll look like that when she's older. You dont pick a girl who's mom doesnt have any ambition, well for the same thing. So far the P990i's heritage is having sexy lineage with great performance; that it improves upon in my eyes. |

Sorry for getting back to the posting 'SE best smart phone manufacturer of 2005' but I thought is a jocke or something until I realized who the deciding panel was. Now it make sens. In Afghanistan,Iran,Iraq,Syria,Palestine and other middle east/moslem countries the P910i only come out early this year (It is certainly easier to tippe in Arabic on a Pxx cell then on any other smart phone out there - no wonder the 910i come first)

He, he. The blue (the second one) theme at that site is made by my friend. By the way his nick-name is “Wox”!

Does it drive anyone else crazy that the UIQ 3 "back" button is upside down from the SE "back" button? Can this be changed through skins/themes you think? It's just a little weird-looking to me...
