The local counterpart of TOFU is called - TOKWA ! (at my end) . . . TOFU is made up of Soy Beans . . . grinded and shaped into . . . squares.

the western worlds paneer... i think.
its made frm soy milk.  but paneer tastes 100 times better i can vouch for that.

oh is it like chewy like meat ? Caus we have something like that here, soybeans shaped in small balls, just dont know what they call it... usually used to make biriyani...
