that xperia duo pic looks fake. the top part of the phone doesn't strike me as a se design, especially the ear piece.
having said that, i'm patiently waiting for a sony ericsson dual core phone... preferably a nexus. |

So many phones are yet to come to the market in full supply [Xperia NEO,PRO,Mini,Mini Pro, Arc sister] They wont risk it to leak it so soon..

There's no point in dual core processors with Gingerbread, which has NOT been optimized for multiple cores. This support came in Honeycomb and will be present in the upcoming Ice Cream Sandwich release for both phones and tablets.

I can't see SE releasing a dual core phone with Honeycomb before Google's new Nexus appears, which is probably Q1.

They'll probably announce it at the end of this year to generate hype, then launch it Q1 2012.
From Q1, the focus will start shifting to Quad core I guess. Damn, its hard to keep up

It is, but many people don't care about that. They just want MORE and MORE and MORE and MORE and... despite the fact that they will never use the full potential of the dual/quad/... core processor. And they just look ridiculously greedy. Come on, are these 2 seconds that you are going to gain when you double the power so much important? Are you going to take faster shots? Or listening to faster music? Or listening to your music at fast-forward speed? Or win faster at the games? Or, actually, what are you going to gain? A few seconds when browsing at the menus? You you're going to pay so much on that? Just get a life!
