Hi there!
I upgraded my k750i using SEUS and got the same problem as all the others in here. Communication error at ~50%. Please restart your phone blabla..
The funny thing is that my phone now has the R1AA008 and its working without any problems at all.
gprs, MSduo, camera, bluetooth, Swedish menues.. Everything works.

I think it's time for us to take some action against SE, after months of ''developing'' new firmwire and yet still F***ing up phones all over the world it's time for a hard talk with SE.
And by that i don't mean sending mail or making call's to SE, but going public.
The last thing a multi million company wants is a negatief repports in the media, so that's the thing we going to do.
I've see hier people from all over the world so the global media attention is what we want.
So i suggest that everyone who's got a problem with his/her K750/W800 firmwire should contact any (local/international) media he/she can reach and point them to this forum.
I'm talking about internet site's,news papers,tv-stations,organisations that protect customer rights (here in Holland it's called 'Consumentenbond').. and so on.
If you made a contact to any media please report it in this thread..

I've just updated my k750 (unbranded bought in sweden) from R1N035 to R1AA008 using SEUS. I did NOT get any comm. error that so many of you have experienced. The update worked fine and the phone looks to be working. Tested camera, Gprs and data trasnfer over the USB. (I had the annoying R1N035 MSDuo bug)
And by the way, I removed the MS Duo prior to the update. |

Just a thought, ... did any of you guys who got the comunication error, try the "recovery mode" on SEUS ? |

Holy hell! That worked for me!
I removed the Memorystick and removed the battery. Then reinserted battery and updated without memorystick in the phone.
Everything completed succesfully!
Funny thing though, phone still insists on only speaking English, even though I can type and stuff in Swedish and most other scandinavian languages.
Well, at least it seems there is hope! |

yep, worked for me to, got 100% and OK.
But still only english. seems I have to visit a service point to get swedish back. |

I'm not gonna pay SETOOL since it's SE's responsibility to release a new bug free F/W.
What does it really mean?????
the tought just makes me mad.
SE, YOU should provide me the new F/W and NOT davinci or setool BECAUSE i've paid 400$ to YOU and NOT davinci or Setool. |

The Fw update is now working for K750.
Just updated without any errors.

when i updated the first time i get comm. error at 47% but the little trick is that you have to take out the memmory card and the sim card
and then update, I just did that and it worked 100% i got Swedish language and and i tested everything and everything works just fine  |

I just updated to R1AA008 without a hitch. I removed the MS Duo card before, but I kept the SIM card. No communication error, swedish menues. Transfered one album (16 songs, 60mb), seems to work fine.

if you don't have only english menus after 100% OK, do a master reset and all languages will work. Just tested and OK |
