ok i'v been playing for entire two days with my phone, i'v done my first cycle, and i will start doing the seconde one now.
my phone is c6903 BH902.
i have renesas sharp lcd panel.
screen:
the screen is simply amazing! the viewing angles are good enough (at 150 degrees still great) the blacks are awesome ! best black i'v seen on any lcd screen, the brightness is amazing ! it's super crisp and just the best i'v have ever seen. colors are super accurate, and it's just beautiful. the Triluminos technology really gives awesome greens and reds!
as for the X-reality, it's a mix bag, while the color enhancement and saturation and contrast are great, in low resolution movies, the added super resolution seems to make some pixlations, but in full hd, and HD contents it's just beautiful.
with that said, if you watch low quality movies, i prefer the pixelation of the xreality over the blured once witout it.
build quality and design:
the Handset is premium, it's very beautiful, and it will turn heads, it is big! but still really comfortable to hold.
the phone itself is a fingerprint magnet as everyone says, and i find myself cleaning it every half hour. but i'm planing on buying screen protectors with oilphoebic layer.
The device is waterproof, and dust resistance, and it is awesome, yesterday i put it in a bowl of water while working, you should have seen the faces on my friends they were shocked!!
Performance:
IT's blazing FAST, NO LAG WHAT SO EVER, threw on it some heavy HD games like asphalt 8 and the amazing spider man, no stutter at all, buttery smooth. multitasking is amazing, its just fast, SUPER FAST.
Camera: today i have went shooting, seems, great in good light, still need to test in low light.
overall, the camera looks great, I find my self shooting with manual mode only, and playing with autofocus and metering settings will give you very awesome results! try it!

Battery life, i'm still on my first cycle, will inform you when i will finish the 3.
audio quality:
the audio quality is just purely great, i really really enjoy listening to music and watch movies on the handset!
the speaker is loud! (with clearaudio+ activated), sometimes i lower the voice because its too loud!
overall for me it is the perfect phone, i just love it!
all the people who saw it was amazed, they said the screen is wonderful and the handset is very beautiful.

Anyone have news on if/when the Z1 will be coming to the US? Also, do we know if the bad screens have been exhausted yet? I can't convey how badly I want this phone, but at the same time I know that the Z2 is going to fix the last of the Z1's flaws and I'm probably going to end up owning 2 Sony phones... though, taking into account Sony's stamina mode, having a Z1 as my music/workphone and future Z2 for my personal phone would be pretty ideal.
Poll for all recent owners:
Background: I've always been an android user, but due to theft and generally idiocy, I've been stuck with a shattered and broken 3G iPhone for my personal phone, and HTC 8x windows for work. In their defense, the iPhone has been a real trooper, with great battery life when used as a music player, and the Windows OS has actually been surprisingly decent, minus the lack of apps.
Question: Is it worth dropping $700 on the Z1 if I'm fairly sure that I WILL be getting the Z2 (Given my current phone situation)

@moogoo Of course I'm going to be excited, just as excited as when I first got it. Well.... at least 90% of that excitement. haha. Have it in my bag at the moment, can't wait until I get home.
@Rockarel First, no one knows exactly if and when the Z1 will launch in the US. Most sources points to mid October. Also, you want a bunch of people from a SONY loving forum in a Z1 loving thread to give you opinion on if you should buy the Z1!?!?!?! Of course we're going to tell you to just get it!

@rockarel - GET IT! it's a great phone. as MNX said, there's only speculation as to when it will release in the US if at all. If it does release, it will probably only be on Tmobile (with tmobile branding and bloatware) and a sony store version may not have the LTE version at all. Then there's the old addage, if you keep waiting for the next great thing, you'll wait forever. If you are SURE you want the Z2, then go ahead and wait. hang onto your iphone and HTC a little longer, but even when the Z2 gets announced, you'll likely be in the same situation. Wondering when and if it will come to the States. So ask yourself, do you want a cracked iphone for another 6 months? or do you want a sleek and sexy Z1 shimmering in your hands?

So my Z1 arrived this morning and I synced my contacts from Facebook. Now can anyone explain to me how do I insert phone number in to those synced Facebook contacts?
I don't see the option to edit those contacts anywhere. The only thing I can do is create a new contact (or import one from gmail) and than merge it to facebook synced contacts? |

sorry can't help ya. i don't use facebook to keep track of my contacts..
i would imagine if you synced them to your phone, they should be available in the contacts app? which means you should be able to edit them from there?
