Statistically speaking, surveys should be sent to more people for it to be effective. Understand also the need for perks to the power contributors. So what SE should do is maintain 2 separate list. Also known unofficially as the spam and vip list

check with SE direct regarding this.......if they have have such mechanism in place, have anyone here like expert MarkOng have been contacted by them to do survey or even contact him to give him free gifts?
the confidential listing is not meant to be known but it should be a open secret as if you are nvr contacted up till now, you know for sure you are unappreciated by the good ppl at SE ....sad sad.....

Of course there'll be non-respondents for surveys. But 10% hit rate for 1000 ppl is still better than 10% from 10 ppl. To me, receiving a survey request from SE would definitely give me a stronger impression of their customer care than to know that they're lurking around in the forum compiling an A-list :)
Just my 2cents worth...and a pain in the bĪtt to type out via WAP :D

For me, the greatest reward from SE would not be any material gift or privilege. Instead, what matters most to me would be to see practical suggestions from fans implemented in new firmware releases. Sure beats overwhelming us with new models every few months. The more usable our SE phone becomes the harder it is for us to switch brands when the time comes for a phone change. Don't think there's any long term benefit in a phone manufacturer trying to be the first to be on the market with new...

...features if the new phone is buggy like hell. Majority of phone user most probably won't be bothered to go for constant firmware upgrades just to make their phone work properly. Sooner or later, they'll be changing their phones out of frustration and you can bet good money that it won't be the same brand.

*sigh* Regret 2 things tonight. First is regret drinking so much tea earlier on that now can't sleep. Nothing better to do while waiting for Mr. Sandman other than ranting in this forum. Second regret is not bringing my notebook back from office, which forces me to do my ranting via T9 :D

CorvusDronn>- Sorry I would like to clarify on this topic. I knew there a lot of HP experts in this forum. Some are active some are inactive in posting their messages in this forum. Besides every members had their expertise in different subjects. Some are technical inclined, some are good in down loading ringtones or backgroud pictures, and some of them are good in creating themes and pictures. Of course SE would like to get as much opnions and suggestions from our members. It will be benificial to them. And I am very sure that SE definitely will not categorize us. Only thing is in this forum we have too many experts. Therefore they have to select us by random. They will definitely want more sound from us.
Pls note that this is a talking forum and I am expressing it through my own opinion only, pls don't misunderstood I am representing SE. as I am not authorised to speak on behalf of SE. It is purely on my own discription.
Cheers!
