hey all, just wanted to show you some pics from my everyday, so here you are:

the three following pics is from some mall i was at this friday, with some girl named "Gry" performing (she won the melodi granprix some years ago) the funny thing (IMO) was those children trying to beat eachothers dance. They were trying to do weird tricks and flips, was kind of funny looking at. When their parents told them to stop, they just continued even more wild

the mom trying to stop her child from dancing

heh, she invited two of the childrens to join her on the scene, but they were way too shy to dance up there

argh, this is the worst rainweather i have even been driving on scooter in. I can't tell how liters of water that has been pissed on my clothes there. The raining was stopped for a while there, but the road was still flooded, so i had to use the sidewalk to get further.. bad outlets for the water.. huh?

I took this picture about 1 week ago, while i was walking out side, to enjoy the warm weather in the evening. I dunno why I took it, but i'm sharing it with you anyways

ok, I dont know what that band was doing, I think it was some kind of salvation orkestre.. they just were there suddently, blocking the road and pissing car drivers off

I know the image is kind of an failure, caused by the different ligthing, but you can see what I tried to catch, thought

a power station i took a picture of, just to test how the pics quality would become in that distance.

people seemed to like this picture, so i posted it (was testing long distance again)

hmm, what spaceship has been landing there?

That was all for now

Cheers

I love German highways.

@manfran, kababayan! Thanks! That was an early morning shot, a little after 6 a.m. I think. I had just come from non-stop overnight work and to keep from zonking out, I took that shot. Our workplaces are near each other.

The other shot is, of course, the LRT railway. I just took a few steps in the other direction and sshhnappp...

@chilli, you also work around the area? Our ofc is just right infront of the National library. It's The Daily Tribune pare. Keep snapping those photos of manila. Have you tried the Rizal monument or the Manila bay sunset?

Well, those K750i photos in the other thread are sort of a downer for K700i owners like me. But guys like Arez are keeping the VGA cam flame alive in this thread. Just a bit of imagination really, so I guess I'll go to Luneta/Baywalk this weekend and snap a few. Hope it doesn't rain.

I wish the Tribune had a wap page too, like inq7.net, where I read all the news. I rarely buy the papers these days. Btw Ninez used to write for the Inquirer too right.

You're right, Arez, a good photographer could work any camera to its technical limits and come up with interesting photos with good composition. On the more practical side, however, the K700i's camera's shortcomings sometimes become very pronounced. For example, i once had to shoot a small bar code. Since K700i has no macro mode, i had to enlarge the code via a photocopier before shooting it. K750i might've made the process easier. :-)

@chilli

That's the sort of techniqe a 'good photographer' would use!
A few years ago I saw a TV show where they showed how Photographers shoot the food for Cook books. Ice cream / yoghurt / condiments melt under the intense heat of the lighting so they mix in plaster. To put the shine on vegetables they use varnish. The food looks great but in most cases it's inedible. A good photgrapher makes a time consuming, well composed photo look easy.

You're obviously showing some talent.
