Hm, real big guns are for me 388, 888, 320, 520, t28, t39 and t68. Amazing to see the development at design, features etc but even, u have the same fone year after year. Its a linear continuity, to sell the same and the same time to offer sg new. Tradition and loyalty! Thats the secret of ///.

You T28 (& T39) owners I need you help !
I dropped my T28 and now the vibrator doesn't work. I opened the phone (quite easy) but I couldn't identificate what is the vibrator. I've searched on Esato too but couldn't find a good explanation or a pic.
Anyone can explain me where it is ? If I have to take apart the main board I won't be able to see it because I don't have the appropriate screwdriver...
On the picture I can see the speaker, the ringtone thing (I guess) but nothing else...

You need to take the pcb off of the chassis using a T6 screwdriver. The vibrator part is under the pcb mounted on the chassis at the top to the right of the aerial.

Thanks jcwhite_uk !
I don't have the right screwdriver so I guess I'll stay without vibracall... Can the vibrator just be loose from the drop ? Or it must be replaced ?

It might of shifted round a bit but I doubt it. It shouldnt move at all as it is in it own little part of the chassis. I would learn to live without it if I were you.

i'm not sure. my first one was the T28 and i loved it, most of my friends had nokia, no all of them 3210 and some 8210. but mine was so slim, the backlight was clear instead of 4-6 leds that gave much less light.
but there's also the T68m that toke my breath away.
and also the T36 the first phone intended to have bluetooth. if it wasn't replaced by the T39 i would've probably gotten it. i never bought the T39 as a main phone cause the T68m was 2 months away.
i'm tought about this and my vote would go to the T36 a mix of T28 and T39. i know i'm not an easy person when it comes to phones

@Numero- im not that familiar with T29 (i used to scrutinized my T68- change facia, backlite etc)
just make sure to use the proper tools, u dont want to screw the bolts etc
@BOba- yup. i also agree. A1018 is my first mobile phone. but of course, my all time fav is the T39

T39 should have been released with the yellow cover aswell. @kapitan never got the real reason for the rubbeq keypad, was that a reason of reducing costs? Probably, but /// lost more with it instead of win, according the quality imo. Even 337 is better and the other gh models.

@Boba- hmm . . . whats with the rubber (ducky) keypads
well, i remember how i "modify" my A1018.
i changed the "oversized" anthenna with a smalller one (not original though) slim batt and bought 2 extra faceplates. at that time, it was a "cool" phone already
then i paired it with a CHAtboard
