On another note, Anzu will come in several colours? Isn't that an indication of a mid-range phone that is expected to sell in large numbers?
I didnt say several colours. I said it will have gradient coloured back covers like the X8, allowing the user to suit the phone to their aesthetical needs.

Ok sorry. But will it come in more than 2 colours?
I wonder how come Eldar said Anzu will fill the top end of their lineup for the first months of 2011? Does that confirm a better flagship will be released later next year?

FMW300i tnx
to all
Actually, Anzo possibly out with 8 mpx camera, thats the question. In article we take a hard decision to describe this product from the best point of view. So, SE isnt decide which module to use 8 or 12, they have several weeks to taken final decision. I hope they take 12 mpx. In other case, it will be fail.
Dual core CPU. Second half of 2011 or even the end of 2011.
Sorry, but SE havent strong R&D anymore, thats the problem. To use dual core architecture every vendor have to made some drivers, tweaks in Android. You couldnt use just normal edition and recieve any advantages. So for SE is stupid to use dual core from begining, in this case they have to invest a lot in that (time/money).
I like to be fooled by SE and see one day a whole new product line with different models. But I do not believe in fairy tale anymore. Talked with some guys inside SE, they have no future from they perspective. No investing in R&D, shrinking market, old OS version, abandoned A200 etc. Carriers arent keen about SE products. I hate to say - remeber, I talked about that ages ago. Thats happens. Actually, I feel sorry for such brand as SE, i like it a lot. My site growing with SE and they anouncement. I was involved in many projects and have a very good memories about Lund and other places. But today SE is a kind of desert in my point of view. They arent believe in what they do. Thats pity.
Sorry, for a long post. SE lost market share, a lot of fans, and thats hurt not only supporters of SE and fans, but me as well. When I wrote open letter to Bert Nordberg, it was a hope that he and new managing team could change everything, and make turn around. And all of us were ready to help SE in that. But company do not rely on own fans and supportes. BTW, Nokia goes in the same directions right now. Not so fast, but they choose th same way down. |

Eldar (the real one whoever that is) is the man with the devices, he knows what he's talking about and he is well respected which is why the companies give him the prototypes in the first place. Testers here are not allowed to give such critical reviews and not as early as Eldar. However, there are certain things he cannot mention like phones coming in Q2 and Q3. The X12 is a natural replacement for the X10 and those who like the X10 will be happy with the X12. Adding Time/Mediascape and optimising means they will give out the updates late as usual. Its wrong to rubbish the guy when he's giving the preview plus, he gets the devices from so accept it.
Of course, specs may change if there are issues because they have a time frame in which to be ready so, if a 12MP module fails then they will have to put the 8MP one in but there's time before the actual release. The flip side is that they could improve the spec if they stabilise hardware or whatever. Bearing in mind that are no longer the top dog, is it unreasonable to assume that their dual core device will come much later than Samsung's for example? The lack of a WP7 device illustrates my point especially when the launch devices were being backed so strongly by Microsoft's own marketing campaign, they spent millions on advertising but missed out. has the same problems as always i.e. software and lateness but that does not mean that the device won't come eventually. |

Yes, it's true - they're late and it hurts them the most.
Other brands get the spot. just follows.
It will be hard to revert it back.
HTC is really having a good strategy. As well as Samsung etc.

Is this a joke? Why they are seriously so late with a thing like this? They spend months preparing for the major update to 2.1 and have been saying all along MT is not possible on X10 and now they are working on it.....?
I believe more and more there is something seriously wrong within this company. Just makes me very
Same with the 16mill. colours. I know its not important but it matters to consumers... Really seems like they haven't heard the BANG!

So does this means the end for us? Could someone answer me? The experts have already foretold SE's DOOMED future..
"I can't deny it anymore that I have lost hope for Sony Ericsson, the brand which I had been loyal for years but I guess this is the end of the long-term commitment."
@eldar, thank you for clarifying everything. |

SE is not doomed. They are profitable and are probably able to stay so with the products they offer. They are just not going to be an industry leader any time some. They will loose there die hard fans to probably HTC and will provide niche products....
Sad but thats what I see for the future if there is no big change in the way they do business.

slightly OT but I still maintain that that is not eldar. the mistakes are too systematic and i can tell that the writer is a native english-speaker. who the hell says "just my 5 cents"???
so, my final finding is that we are being infested with big fat trolls.
IMHO btw |

It must be the real Eldar because according to him, a company making more money is the same as them going down. |
