actually when u bluejack someone, you still need the person to click "Accept" to accept your business card... I've tried it with my frens' 7650s.... they all work the same.... and they have never upgraded their sw (they dunno anything abt these kind of stuff)...

so that explains why nowadays it's so hard to jack... ppl know how to click reject

That's where you are wrong m8. According to shithappens, the 6310i readilly accepts it. No confirmation needed. And are you sure that the 7650 owner needs to accept it ? I know that veon's 3650 needs confirmation.

yea..some phone need confirmation while others do not
alex tried it with his ipaq 5 series...he managed to bombard a 7650, according to him the 1st jacking need to get permission from the owner, then the subsequent vcards will be received automatically without the 7650's owner consent
I tried bluejacking my T68i with my N3650 and vice versa, both remained unpaired as u all know i just got my 3650, anyway i created a contact 'miss you' in the N3650, search via bluetooth, put my T68i as discoverable and send it, the T68i automatically receive the vcard!
It shows
'miss you'
add in contacts?

Then i try the other way around, created a contact 'miss you' , discover with my T68i, found my 3650, send it
what it shows in my N3650 is

'contact sent from T68i, received?'

if i press no then it shows connection failure in the T68i

Thus, i found out that i can directly bluejack a T68i with my N3650 without the consent of the T68i, but bluejacking a 3650 without the owner's consent is impossible
Anyway my T68i firmware is R2A if it is of any significance to the whole result

gil
great review! good work lad
hehe...Anyway i think a little bit late in posting up the review right?coz T300 stop production liao
T310 release date is just around the corner
better get ready for the T310 review

well, bluetooth push object profile will accept any vcard but it still depand on you want to save it into the contact or not. For t68 and n7650 it will auto accept the card and save into the phone memory then only show on screen ask the user want to accept it or not. This work on all phones and all pda. Only pc, notebook, mac and ibook will auto accept and save. Well .. i just know that ibook will even display it on screen. If i got mca 25 today .. i will shoot down the screen. Damn nice !

vcard - universal contact list. It can accept by all phones no matter what brand, all palm pda. (pocket pc can't yet i think)

ic....well...then i think how the phone ask to accept the incoming business card is the key for a successful bluejack
for instance
1st, 'miss you' from T68i,accept?--without accepting already shown the message..great!bluejacking successful!
2nd, 'business card from T68i, accept?'--of coz ppl who are aware of this will just reject and wont be able to read the message...bluejacking unsuccessful
haha....hope i am on the right track now

About the pc automatically receiving and save items sent via bluetooth, i think there should be a setting for it, i have a BT adapter for my PC and everytime i send something, it will ask me to authourize it 1st, but then now i have set the settings to 'auto accept from device 'My 3650'. then now it only it saves automatically
Think the device u bluejacked in the PC fair is set to received files automatically from any device within the range gua
might be going to PC Fair tmr, will try bluejacking it
cheers

Good morning people. :-) Veon18, i think there is still a way for the t68i to bluejack a nokiar. Remember when i tried to bluejack you yesterday, did you get the message 'receive contact from FU*K Nokia' ? If so, it is still considered a successful bluejack because the owner still sees an unwanted and offensive message. All you have to do is rename your phone to something teruk :-)

shithappen,

was too tired to put any comments here. about the meeting we just try out the relibility of the 3650. and how to bluejack. nothing much.....

but it's still fun that everyone share and fixed up symbian application.

somehow in the gathering at starbuck for the PDA user. we manage to identify a nokia bluetooth headset HDW-2. it looked freaking ugly.
