According to GSMarena the Xperia Z1 may get Android 4.4 (KitKat) as early as November as Sony are already hard at work on the update.

im trying to use xperia privilege app when i select redeem prepaid card, and put the code they gave, i get an error..
The prepaid card code you entered is incorrect or is no longer valid..
why is that  ? |

Hi all Australians, if you bought the z1 does it have good screen or one with not so good veiwing angles. Also where did you buy it from?
I had a look at one at optus today and the viewing angles weren't that good. |

Um, I have a problem guys.....im in love with my z1........
@aussiefella got mine from Sony.com.au, as part of the Sony X member...$670...bargain! screen is great, really punchy, great improvement over z...sound is better as well...everything is so fluid n nice....overall, great improvement...im thinking sony keep the 'good' stock for themselves n the 'mediocre' ones to the telcos....just guessing.... |

Sony indeed has NOT released this one (even though you CAN make one if you disemble the dock)

Hope you guys can find this somewhere else, remember the square-thing on the connecting part. its made by You hang. This one you caan TILT THE DEVICE with it slowly if you be careful. I tested myself and have bought 3 of these cords made by You Hang in SHenzhen China. best magnetic powder I have found today!
