no they wont see what type of phone you have, they will see your phone name...
connectivity>bluetooth>options>phone name>edit your phone name then select ok
that name is what they will see

Some phones, like Nokias, will show your Bluetooth phone name, some wont. It depends on the receiving phone.
The person receiving the message will have no idea who sent it them - Bluetooth leaves no traces.
If you dont want them to be able to find your phone, either keep Bluetooth off and let the phone turn it on and off again after using it, or hide your phone ( show phone / hide phone ).

Curious to know if anybody has install SMan v1.4b2 and used the bluejack module to send non-vCards (previous version of SMan could only send vCards).
Have not had the time to test that module ourselves.
Anyway?

Have tried, managed to get it work once. Although my P910 been playing up again, turning itself off and getting the dreaded blank screen and totally unresponsive! Am getting quite annoyed with it now! |

yes it works fine for me. it depends on the size of file u send as if it is a large one it will take a while n u might get timed out. u culd send files in the previous version of sman simply by using a fileman and putting ur choosen file in the sman folder and call it sman.vcf. it worked a treat .
