After all possible problems SE managed to screw things up again! They got to have a bunch of monkeys doing their beta testing for them! |

Did you get a "communication error" or did the progress bar jump from about 50 percent to 100 percent?
I have updated two K750 now - both get communication error!

I got a communication error at 47%. Here's what my log file shows:

That's the same logg that I got for three phones here right now! None successfully updated!
What's even more scary is that a poster reported having his firmware corrupted after trying to re-update after an unsuccessful update. |

hey there!
i've updated my K750i firmware from R1L002 to R1NA035 couple day's ago. everithing go just fine but when I turn my phone on there was another icons in my menu and other simbols.
How can I put back the old icons on my phone? please help.

Same problem here. I tried updating my swedish-bought unbranded phone (K750i). It stopped halfways and complained about "communication error". After that I had to reinsert battery and phone seems to work fine except I can't choose any other language than English. Other than that the phone seems ok, camera works, GPRS works.
However the firmware has been updated from R1N0035 to R1AA008.
Going to take it to a servicecenter either tomorrow or Monday and get it flashed properly.
SE should really try to do something about SEUS since it is way to complicated and quite prone to fail.

I'll just take my fone to a nearby SESC and have the firmware updated there. I'd rather not take the risk doing it at home. |
