@Jazz2k
I agree, so much of the X10 is about the UI and SE's adaptation of Android, that I can't see how any carrier or could do too much to alter it.. My 1st C905 came direct from a CPW store and featured SW like CPW navigation, but the handset itself was branded Cybershot...
Just had to speak to Orange support about another issue and it turns out the woman I spoke to has an SE phone too, and is really excite cos SE came out to them last week to demo the X10.. She is in love with the white one and says it will be her next upgrade....They are expecting units in, in the next week so that they can handle customer queries!?!?
Can't be long now? |

Will the X10 be getting Multi Touch with the 2.1 or 2.2 update? |

Bearing in mind you still cant buy the phone I think that is being a bit optimistic the fact is no one knows yet.
I have owned the ... T68i T610, P800, P900, P910, P990, W950, P1, W960 But SE have now totally lost the plot. |

@Goldenface
Good spot re: T-Mobile price plans. Pretty happy with that, was hoping for the £30-35 p.m. mark. Any news as to when T-Mob and Orange are merging for UK s I know Europe has now said it has no objections?
Still just saying coming soon and from free on their site. |

As i said...from the very begining.... "stop dreaming about Q1" .... And q2 it is !!
So just listen to someone that knows more about some kids around here... even if SE is not the same any more....
Anrdoid 2.0 update NOT BEFORE Q3.... and by then... even a child knows that there will be a dozen of MUCH BETTER devices than this.. As i said.... yes Snapdragon 1Ghz is a unique feature back in Sept 2009.... but not in Sept 2010 ..

For those who will spend this money on this outdated device ...see you in a few months in the "X10 problems /update need thread"

Welcome back Sealover, it's been quiet without you. Hell we almost even used this thread to discuss phones and exchange information rather than insults.
Seeing as your yoda in either age/wisdom as you insist on calling all of us kids, what are Wednesday's lottery numbers going to be?
I see you still can't bring yourself to support your claims with any references, is that cos the last time you tried you got laughed down so loud they could hear it all the way from here to Endgadget? How is that new iPhone looking by the way. Maybe you can use it with your CT200h?
As you plan to haunt future X1o threads too, does that mean your buying one? Hardly seems you'd be able to make any constructive comments without access to one.. Oh wait you never do anyway....
I for one would be willing to pitch in to the 50 Euro prize you think you can claim if you'd go away.
Lastly as both Play and Expansys are looking to ship Sim-free before or by 30/3, that would still qualify as Q1 would it not?
@mods: sorry I couldn't resist. this guy just winds me up...

Another hands on of the Xperia X10a.
http://www.phonedog.com/2010/[....]eria-x10-hands-on-impressions/
Summary:
Nice
Somewhat laggy (Timescape)
A couple notches less sensitive touch screen that competitors
Mediascape is nice (best music app for Android)
Camera takes good pic/video
Some issues working with 3rd party stereo handsets
All in all, not bad. Now all we need is a price.

The XDA team seem to be eager to get X10 spinning on home cooked ROMs.

Another very promising post.. Glad to see the anticipation of this phone is pretty much Universal.
Where did you get hold of the games in the video you posted a few days back, was it just general Android sites?
Keep up the good work...

That's great review! Thank you for sharing!
The best mobile phone brand died with Sony Ericsson's death. Shame on you Sony for killing it! And, of course, for ruining the Xperia brand... Mediar's Site |
