Yeah, its really easy to set up Airport express. In fact, its easier than in windows . I can't say it'll be all that much fun, or be that tweakable, but its still easier.

davo i dont have airport i use a netgear dg834g wireless modem/router and netgear wg111 wireless usb adapter on my desktop pc and access the internet on my mac through then
works a treat
right people i need to set my pc back to factory default as it is fooked up
so what are the essenncials i need to put on it to keep it running smoothly
i did have the following
spybot search and destroy
spyware blaster
adaware
bho demon
norton internet security
norton systemworks
but it still gets buggered
i was hoping you guys could recommend the must have programs

dont install any anti viral software and it will work a treat

yeah right
we are talking about a pc here, my mac doesnt have anything on it and workd flawlessly
i just need to get the pc up and running for my mum
it was fine a few weeks ago but since she has been on there she cant access the internet or anything and it has loads of stupid sex/pron passes on there
and no before you ask she wasnt looking at anything
she must have dl them by accident lol

mine crashes all the time
please help i dont want to keep having to reset it every couple of months

we used to have norton systemworks but it slowed the computer right down so i deleted it.....and i think dad put some spyware crap on there too

Haha there is something seriously wrong with a computer that is THAT screwed up.
Here, try reformatting the drive (If you live anywhere near me I'll do it for you after exams, I need stuff to do anyways). Then just re-install windows.
But if you can't be bothered doing all that:
Go to start-->all programs-->Accesories-->System Tools-->Disk Defragmenter
Run that, and leave it until its done. Chances are you'll see a noticeable increase in speed.
Un-install all the norton stuff, and get this, and see if it picks anything up:
AVG Antivirus
This is a frequently updated anti-virus suite that is completely free! I use it, and have never had problems .
I always maintain that a format every 6 months is very healthy.

it must just be tiny computers then because i have tried everything and it still manages to get wrecked
oh well i dont use it so i am not bothered
i will just put norton internet security and systemworks on it as all my mum wants to do is access the net and use msn
