hold on, Open gl Api will not work in x360. 360 is based on dx, while ps3 supports it and not dx. |

You do not consider the Diamond? When I look photos comparing Touch pro & Diamond, I don't regret at all to not have hardware keyboard considering how Touch Pro looks like a brick. Unless you need more than 4Gb (and TV-out but http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=412350 )
I am pretty keen to get an onboard qwerty. And unfortunately since my K800 I've been running 8GB so yes, I do need more than 4GB
It's small and light though. Give it another year and we'll have qwerty enabled handsets the same size and weight. (with all the good as well)

Why are you waiting for the X1 then? Buy the Pro, its going to be out on AT&T anytime soon, certian AT&T insiders have mentioned that the X1 might not release on AT&T only T-Mobile but once unlocked you can use it on AT&T.
How do you know that they're releasing the X1 on Tmob in the USA?... I've read on several different sites that it's not coming to Tmob, and after the last white paper release I had lost all hope of it coming to Tmob USA do it's exclusion of the US's AWS bands in the North American version.... Source?.... Thanks!

Hey Boris,
Its just speculation. Basically AT&T are going with HTC TOuch Pro calling it the Fuse, see Boinngs post a few posts above. ANd I read on xa-dev a HTC forum that X1 might be going with T-Mobile, no offical source. But considering the Pro and the X1 are quite similar there is a possibility that they might just go with the Pro only.
@Humble
Many thanks for answering the question. BUT OpenGL is not implemented in WM 6.1 on the OS like it is in the iPhone or android. But yet we can use OpenGL in programs?

Hey thanks for the quick response! I'd like to say that it's going to happen as well, but honestly at this point it would purely be conjecture on my part... I keep hearing some noise from all of the Tmob fanboys (mostly) here in the states (and on TmoNews) that Tmob is releasing a "iPhone killer" this fall to go with it's new 3G network. I sincerely think the phone that they're referencing is either Tmob and HTC's Android device or the Samsung T919, not that I think either is a "iPhone Killer" per say (yet... let's see what comes of this "Dream" phone)... There have also been rumors and rumblings from people on the net that say Tmob has yet to announce a another SE flip phone and a sliding SE phone that both support their AWS loving 3G network! Again, some are quick to point out that the sliding SE phone will be the X1. However, I think it's just wishful thinking on their part, that often gets twisted into fact (as things often do on the internet and sites like this one) by the die hard overzealous Tmob fans found here. I'm just waiting for some official word from SE, at this point, in regards to the X1's launch date and price. I'm also hoping SE gets Tmob in the states to carry the X1 (which yet may still be seen, crossing fingers) though I think it's looking pretty unlikely at this point, due SE's decision to exclude the 1700 frequency from it's NA version...

Actually WM is new to SE. But how SE releasing a phone as advanced as HTC. Look this is t first mob from SE running on Windows. But this not the case for HTC they released so many mob on the same platform so HTC must be like that.i won't blame SE even its buggier. But there's no doubt that later they will give firmware update to wipe out the issues.

You know when you say
"i won't blame SE even its buggier. But there's no doubt that later they will give firmware update to wipe out the issues."
Well unlike you i would think most of us don't find that acceptable when spending our money so don't expect it to be buggier why should we?
As for they will give it a firmware update to wipe out the issues later you are joking because that has really worked out well for so many SE phones of late. Maybe you should read the Forum for those still waiting for a fix it all firmware that doesn't seem to come.
If SE announced this so long ago and are still not ready to launch it yet it really had better be as near to perfect as possible when launched as buggy will not do.
Marc

Have you read anything regarding the X1? The X1 is manufactured by HTC. Its a touch Pro in an SE shell.
@boris
The Tmobile iPhone killer is not the X1 but the HTC Dream an Android phone like you mentioned. In some ways it should be superior to the iPhone but as an overall package(after sales service etc. included) I doubt that.
The X1 actually would'nt really compete with the iPhone on any level. The target audience are different. I have no idea why some people think its going to be on T-Mobile, I just reproduced what I've read online on different forums . I have no idea how the networks in the US operate, you guys would be a better judge of that . BUT considering AT&T's association with HTC with the Tilt etc. It does seem quite logical that they'll give 100% to the Fuze aka Touch Pro. Or maybe price the X1 higher than the Pro which is also a possibility. Keep the X1 as a high end smartphone with the Fuze to target mid end. It seems the Fuze lacks a FM Radio as well, although this maybe only a s/w issue and a ploy to make users use internet radio. It could also mean they might cripple the Fuze and make the X1 their flagship. I maybe totally wrong though

Yes thats quite logical, it all depends on the X1 launch date though. If it launches tomorrow its definatley worth it. You can buy the HTC flagship WM7 phone about a year later(THe flagship usualy launches July, maybe earlier next year though). But if you're waiting till Nov and stuff, its definately not worth buying imo. Then the E71 is a really good way to go. iPhone is so overpriced in India at the moment

Well it may have bugs. I would agree with that. It is the first WM phone so it means that hasn't got any experience with this type of devices. There may appear some bugs or application incompatibility, but I'm pretty sure that they will be fixed shortly with firmware updates.
