i really dont like HS33s on a bike other than a trials bike, they stop you dead! there either on or off. no gradual fade.

Err, 'fraid i'll have to disagree with you there, it just depends on how you set them up and what compound pads you use. well even stock pads work well in all conditions...
well ive been using HS33's for years now and they are the best rims brakes money can buy....

@JT
Yeah, I've had a quick spin on a rocky ridge, not a bad bike at all.

Just goes to show what I know about bikes. I would use it for street riding such as jumping walls and drop offs etc. Would it be up to the job? |

I love the quote:
'Something, probably'
Are you infering something about my writing style there meths?
@JT
The Rocky Ridge is classed as an Aggressive Cross Country hard tail so while it's not really meant for street it can certainly take a bit of hammer.

Ah! Thanks for clearing that up Batesie, Cycovision.
@Batesie
Ive seen that type of bike before, mainly used for competitions rather than leisure activities. The riding position is useless for just general riding and it doesnt look all that kool either lol. |

nah your right, ive ridden a 20'' wheel'd trials bike and there great for tricks and trials but the ones with no seat..... anyway.
I like having a light bike thats strong and mine weighs up at 25 pounds (11.5Kg) but theres a fine line between having light components and strong components.
